Vandaag officieel -20 kg eraf!
Ben aan het wenen van geluk!
Ben beginnen houden van het sporten en van het omgaan met gezond eten, het zorgt ervoor dat ik veel meer energie heb!
De meeste zeggen dat het puur karakter is, grotendeels is dat ook zo, maar toch wil ik eens bedankt zeggen tegen de mensen die me zo hard hebben gesteund!
De meeste dachten waarsschijnlijk dat ik het niet zou volhouden maar zeiden niks, sommigen zeiden het wel, maar rotte appels heb je overal!
Bedankt aan mijn volledige familie die er met meeleeft, zeker aan mijn ouders! Die moeten af en toe een boze hongerige Aurélie meemaken, maar ze zijn er altijd voor mij!
Al mijn vriendjes die interesse tonen en meeleven = ik hou van jullie!
En mijn collegatjes kan ik zeker niet vergeten! Jullie liggen me echt heel nauw aan het hard!

I'm starting to feel like this current medication isn't doing enough. I'm having more bad days than good + my mood is like a rollercoaster. •
I didn't work out yesterday... and I wasn't going to today. And then finally something in me came to my senses and said "GO FOR A DANG WALK!" So I did. And I definitely feel way better for it! While it doesn't help with the pain - it definitely helps with the mood 🙌🏻 Plus - I have challengers and teammates to show up for! That inspiration is helpful when my own inspiration disappears for a day or two 😊
Now to go home for some dinner and homework for a low key Friday night 💛 •

Pizza night!!! I'm not being too strict with what I eat lately... But David is 😑 but I also don't like feeling like shit so I'm always down for a healthier meal!! We cooked up some ground turkey, bell peppers, and onions and dropped that on pizza sauced pita bread and topped with cheese (and olives for me) and baked it a bit. It was so freaking good!!!! This meal plan does not suck, and this was cooked faster than a pizza would've been delivered 😉👌🏼 #pizzanight#healthyaf
I made bologna chips today. Oh. My. God. 🙌🏼😍👅 I just baked thin slices on a foil-lined cookie sheet at 400. Lots of oil cooked out of it so it's pretty much #healthyaf now. 👌🏼 #proteinfirst#shitstefeats

Confession - I hate cleaning and I'm a terrible house keeper. I'm pretty much only cleaning today because the girls are both having friends over and I'm embarrassed at the hot mess my house is. Bonus calorie burn is nice though! Please we tell me I'm not the only one?
Traditional diet plans, weight watchers, slimming world, lighter life etc they all work on a calorie only model. 1️⃣➕4️⃣
In the past I was encouraged to eat less during the week so that I could "enjoy myself" aka BINGE 🙄on a weekend.
🚫 This isn't a good idea because:
1. It's really difficult to 'tighten' the diet strings on a Monday when your body/brain has eaten more indulgent foods for 2-3 days.
2. This encourages disordered eating, restriction and binging is not healthy even though it's becoming "normal".
3. When you over eat at the weekend, your body will store fat ready for the next time you starve it.
Hello next weeks weight plateau or gain!⚖️
🌈🌈 I encourage my clients to eat the foods they love a little earlier in the week...and day because it takes the edge off and you stop feeling like food is inherently "bad".

10 MINUTE TACO RECIPE
1 package Straight From The Root sous vide butternut squash
1/4 onion, sliced thin
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 can black beans, drained and rinsed
2 cups arugula
3-4 corn tortillas
1/2 avocado, sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
a dash of cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt and pepper
1. Heat a skillet over medium heat with olive oil. Once hot, add in garlic and onion. Sauté until the onion starts to become translucent, but before the garlic is brown.
2. Remove your butternut squash from the package and add it to your skillet along with your black beans, spices, salt and pepper. Sauté for another 2 minutes, or until everything is warm.
3. Layer your arugula evenly onto your corn tortillas and top with your warm butternut squash mix.
4. Top each taco with avocado slices and salsa.
5. VOILA! TACOS!💃💚 #StraightUpHealthy
