21 days of plant-based eating, natural supplements, and a DEEP cleaning/detoxing for my body. If I’m being honest, I was a little disappointed (okay..a lot disappointed) this time around in my results. I kept comparing my results this time to my results from LAST year. I don’t look as good in my sports bra and I definitely don’t feel as good in my skin as I did the last time. But when I stopped to think about it, WHY WOULD I? Last year I completely let myself go. I seemed to put my health on the backburner basically after getting home from our Florida trip until New Years Eve. In other words, my body had a LOT more cleansing to do this time around. The amount of toxins I put in my body last year was ridiculous. I felt like a fraud..being a coach, yet gaining weight and honestly, getting to the biggest I had ever been. So when I took all of this into consideration, I STOPPED COMPARING myself to the me I was a year ago. Because the reality of the situation, I am where I am now because of the choices I made last year. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So instead of beating myself up over it, I decided to focus on the POSITIVE! I feel FREAKING INCREDIBLE! Like…my energy levels are insane, and I finally FEEL healthy. I don’t wake up every morning feeling gross and bloated and full of regret for the things I ate the night before. I wake up ready to conquer the day and I am PROUD of myself for making it as far as I have, which was THE WHOLE REASON I did this cleanse to begin with! The moment I started to focus on all the things I HAD ACHIEVED instead of focusing on all the areas I was falling short, that’s when I started to realize how FAR I had actually come this past month. And ya know what?? This year has just begun 😎 This is going to sound super cliche, but 2018? I basically refuse to get sick. Dan brought home a cold that everyone at work has been suffering from, and we managed to keep his to a mere stuffy nose rather than full blown, stay-in-bed, pukey sick. I could feel something trying to take hold in me a few days ago, and I thought, "oh hell naw..." So after a couple days of really blasting my body with every good thing I possibly could, I feel totally fine again! Worth it!!! ☺️

Kale, sun-dried tomato, olive and sweet potato salad 🥗: A perfect desk lunch! Also a great side for pretty much anything! I roasted sweet potato cubes first with olive oil, lots of salt and pepper (they took ages - But it was worth it!). Also, pulse the kale a little in a blender (just a little) to break it up a bit, and chop the big stems off too. Toss the salad together with a little olive oil, lemon juice and apple cider vinegar with the sun-dried toms, olives and a little red onion. Et viola! 💞 Top it with some pine nuts and tastes delicious warm or cold! Idea from @deliciouslyella

Since I have been working out at home, I feel like I have tested every workout space I have. Main level living room, down stairs, my bedroom, and even my kitchen! This past summer I brought the workouts to the garage, and honestly...it’s my favorite! The lighting is the best, it’s the most space, holds my weight nicely and out of the way, and I can play music without worrying about waking the kids. Only issue was the floor. I usually used my mat (pictured on the left), and it worked perfectly. Jumping around on a hard floor hurts the knees. Buuut for these particular workouts I have been doing, I needed to use sliders. Those sliders don’t really move on the mat and I started to panic a little because I really liked working out in the garage. (And no, sliding them on the garage floor is NOT an option😂) I had to come up with a better idea otherwise I was back to working out inside. .

I ended up finding a roll of carpet And thought BINGO! I laid that baby down and it worked  like a charm! So now I use a mat plus a roll of carpet to workout haha! .

(And no, sliding them on the garage floor is NOT an option😂) I had to come up with a better idea otherwise I was back to working out inside. . . I ended up finding a roll of carpet And thought BINGO! I laid that baby down and it worked like a charm! So now I use a mat plus a roll of carpet to workout haha! . . Might be a little strange to have two flooring options while working out...buuuut it’s what works best for me!! I was inspired by a recipe I saw on @spamellab page for overnight oats carrot cake and I decided to concoct my own smoothie with carrots! Or a carrot cake smoothie!! I can’t vouch for the health benefits of carrot cake.. other than it makes you so happyyy! But Carrots have a wealth of nutrients , in addition to beta carotene/vitamin A, carrots also promotes healthier skin, heart, they act as a cleanser and aparantly keeps you looking younger!!! 🙌🙌🙌 I was dreaming about this before I went to bed last night............ ok here goes: 1. I used three medium sized carrots peeled and roughly chopped 2. One thumb nail sized piece of ginger 3. Zest of an orange 4. One half teaspoon of turmeric 5. Half a teaspoon of cinnamon 6. Half a teaspoon of cloves ground 7. Teaspoon of maple syrup 8. Topped up with coconut milk I also added a small wedge of pineapple to sweeten further (because I have a terrible sweet tooth!!!) it was really yummmyyyyy!!! I topped with a few walnuts, pineapple and dried mango. 🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🍊🍊🍊🍊🐇🐇

Today, I pushed through harder than I usually would. I am seriously SO fired up about this program. Each day, I wake up RIGHT when my alarm goes off {soooo not the old Allie who “snoozed” a million times} and I can’t wait to have my Shakeology and get my day started. .
Being wine free is actually so freaking AWESOME!! I’m struggling to get to bed/sleep on time, but getting better each day!! Once I fall asleep, I sleep so well!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

3X10s are awesome because they allow you to play around with your strength. By round 3, if your booty isn’t SHAKING and you don’t feel like stopping, your bands aren’t strong enough!! .

I tell people to imagine their ultimate day, whether it’s feeling the sun on their back, looking toned in bathers. I ask them to describe that moment, feeling the sand in their toes, playing with their children on the beach

That imagined person doesn’t go through the drive-through on their way home from work, because that’s not who they are
•
People then don’t have to make that decision when they’re in a weakened state of mind because they’ve already been telling themselves they’re not that person right from the start
•
Mr Forster said once you’ve set your goals, based in emotion, then it’s time to logically think about how they will be achieved (S.M.A.R.T goals)
