پاستا با مرغ و گوجه
فهرست مواد لازم:
1. 400 گرم اسپاگتی نپخته
2. دو قاشق غذا خوری روغن زیتون با کیفیت
3. یک عدد پیاز کوچک که خوب خرد شده باشد
4. شش عدد گوجه فرنگی رسیده، دانه گرفته شده، به حالت مکعبی برش خورده
5. 400 گرم مرغ پخته بدون استخوان و بدون پوست، تکه تکه شده
6. یک دوم قاشق چای خوری نمک
7. پودر فلفل سیاه
8. دو قاشق غذا خوری ریحان تازه و خرد شده
9. 150 گرم پنیر بز
یک قابلمه بزرگ از آب نمک را به جوش بیاورید، اسپاگتی را اضافه کنید و بر اساس دستوری که روی بسته اش آمده بپزید، پیوسته بهم بزنیدش تا زمانی که کاملا بپزند. یک و یک دوم فنجان از مایع پخت پاستا را نگه دارید. اسپاگتی را در آبکش بریزید تا آبش گرفته شود و سپس کنار بگذاریدش.
در همان قابلمه روغن را روی حرارت متوسط گرم کنید. پیاز را اضافه کنید و به مدت پنج دقیقه بپزید و دائم بهم بزنید تا نرم شوند. پاستا را به همراه گوجه فرنگی، مرغ و مایع پاستا در قابلمه بر گردانید. محتویات قابلمه را خوب بهم بزنید تا ترکیب شوند سپس به آنها نمک و فلفل اضافه کنید تا غذا طعم بگیرد.
پاستا را به بشقاب منتقل کنید. روی آن ریحان بریزید و سپس پنیر بز را اضافه کنید ( پنیر پیتزا نیز می توانید به کار ببرید ). بلافاصله سرو کنید.

i cant go out at weekends due to my M.E. - i need to use the time to rest before another week of uni. so i dont have to worry about alcohol and chips etc after nights out! however, being at home all day leads to the temptation to SNACK - my ultimate weakness! 🍫🍩🍬i stayed totally on plan today and hoping for the same tomorrow. there’s some perks to weighing in on a monday i guess, it means i’m less tempted to stray off plan 👌🏼
Heart palpitations, do you get them?
I used to get them a lot. Everyday. I lived in a constant state of anxiety with heart palpitations. And when I changed my diet about 18mths ago they stopped. Completely stopped. I went on a gluten free diet and by doing so I cut out a lot of crap. A lot of crappy foods that contain preservatives we're automatically cut from my diet just by becoming GF.
I became aware of what I was eating. Last night after a massive day I ordered pizza for dinner. I still had a GF pizza but I teamed it with a glass of wine. When I went to bed my heart was absolutely racing! I was so anxious feeling I couldn't sleep. This was no doubt caused from the preservatives in what I put in my mouth. Maybe from the pizza, maybe from the wine or maybe just a combination of both! But the point is I noticed. I noticed my body didn't like it. My body told me it didn't like it! Listen to what your body is telling you. What you put in your body is so important. If you suffer from regular heart palpitations I urge you to change your diet. It will change your life when that feeling stops. It’s creeping towards the end of the year and this is definitely the time when I start to feel like I have less energy and motivation. So here are some healthy alternatives to sweets and caffeine to keep you nourished and energised. 🌱
Water: fatigue may be caused by dehydration so check your intake.
Beans: Are a fab source of protein, carbs and fibre keeping you fuelled for longer.
Bananas: They are the energy food of the fruit world and contain essential nutrients such as potassium, Vit B6 and fibre.
Almonds: snacking on these powerhouses provide you with healthy fats that are important for growth and repair but also nutrient dense. 🌱
Chia: Helps with hydration by absorbing 3 x it’s size. It is also packed with protein and fibre to sustain energy.
Oats: who doesn’t like a bowl of porridge in the morning to fill you up and keep you warm. Its not just for breakfast though, try a savoury version for lunch. Packed with fibre, protein and carbs.
Wholemeal: is a complex carb meaning when digested it is slow releasing into the bloodstream, increasing energy slowly. 🌱
Quinoa: one of my favourite grains, it is packed with protein, carbs, iron and fibre, energy sustaining nutrients for on the go.
Made some leek pie the other day and it was amazing! 🌱💚🌱 ~~> I sliced 4 leeks and cooked them on the pan with some olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt & pepper. I also i added a couple of sliced portobello mushrooms 🌱 When the leeks are cooked, add some soya single cream and trimmed vegan cheese (optional). Use multiple filo pastries for the bottom, add filling and top up with some more filo pastries. Top up with some olive oil and sesame seeds 🌱🌱 Bake at 180° for 25 mins
VegFest haul! At @vegfestuk London today - I frickin love this day of the year.
I only went for the last couple of hours that it was open as I was working during the day, but still somehow managed to eat so much food and spend so much money 💰 bae and I shared @thedutchweedburger and a pot of 3 curries from @spice_box, and I picked up a ton of stuff to take home with me. The special offers are too good to miss out on! I also had a beautiful slice of cake from @roncato1976, strawberry and spirulina, but by the time we’d made the journey home it looked too much of a mess to photograph. Went for a slice of @oneplanetpizza too but they’d unsurprisingly sold out by the time we got to them! Shame as I love their pizza but current stockists are too far away for me to get it home still frozen. Still had an amazing selection of food and of course I sampled everything I could 😎I also saw the amazing @jamesaspey in REAL HUMAN FORM but he was quite busy chatting and selling his clothing range. One day I’ll say hello!
The new @the_tofurky_company sandwiches are banging and I can’t wait until they’re more readily available 🙌 I shared the crumbs of the chickn and sweetcorn one with my friend the mouse on the tube platform as I waited for our train home. He/she certainly enjoyed it 👌
Now I am tucked up in bed resting my feet after running around since 5am 😴 Ready for another work day tomorrow! Oh the grind (but the dollaaaaaa 💰 for all my future travels 🌎)
