My Juice Plus experience... Last summer I decided to try out the silver package. That's the shakes, and fruit and veggie capsules. I wasn't skeptical at all, because when I was young my mom sold Juice Plus and I remembered that they were good for you. However, as a grown up and being able to see, feel and understand the benefits, I now know how life changing they can be.
In 2005 I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. Devastation quickly followed. I got extremely ill, extremely fast. I had my entire large bowel removed and then reconstructed a year later. I've had 4 major surgeries and 2 minor ones all related to the UC and what it did to my body. I've also been MODY Diabetic since I was 14, and have Gastroparesis and NAFLD.
For years, my guts and stomach hurt constantly. Severe pain was something I lived with. Day in and day out. Not to mention the always lingering nausea, and fear of eating something that didn't agree with me. I was tired, depressed, anxious and overweight from eating foods that wouldn't bother me (certain veggies, fruit etc., were too hard on my digestive system.) And my blood sugars were always up and down.
Fast forward to today. After a year of taking my fruit and veggie capsules, and shakes, I very rarely have pains. Almost never. That in itself is a life changer. But, I've also been able to stop taking the antidepressants/anti anxiety medication that I've been on for nearly 10 years. There were days I thought that would never be possible. I've also noticed my blood sugars are consistent now. They are rarely out of my target range. My mind is clearer, I'm no where near as tired everyday, and I'm basically pain free. Plus, I'm eating better and exercising more because I don't have pain and because my mindset has changed. I figure if I'm putting money into the products, I need to invest in myself and live a lifestyle that compliments that investment!
I'm a lifer, I'll never go without my Juice Plus. .
