My favorite way to get those ❤️ healthy omega 3's. I pick the sardines up at Cosco by the case. I get the Coles wild Atlantic chub mackerel at Walmart. Both are low in mercury and are super good for you! I like to eat mine straight up-out of the can with a little chipotle Tabasco sauce. It makes a quick and easy meal with a side of fresh greens. 😋
Tucked inside at home watching a brilliant summer storm ⛈ and about to dig into this lunch bowl 🍚 May look slightly similar to last nights dinner but what can I say, I like what I like 🤷♀️ Sautéed cabbage with @leesprovisions ghee and acv, steamed kale, fried egg, and @farmhouseculture dill kraut over baby greens with EVOO and @maisonorphee dijon 😛 #realfood#cleaneating#lunchbowl
SWEET POTATO SALADS are one of my favorites. This one is super simple and made from red leaf lettuce, red onion, cherry tomatoes, and steamed sweet potato. Then, I added a few scoops of home made guacamole on top instead of using dressing. 🥑😁 What are you favorite salad toppings?! Let me know below!! 👇👇

Here's to my thoughts on the AHA's take on coconut oil being unhealthy. I call b$~*@t and added each of these to my Keto pancakes. Side note, I am not a low-fat promoter, but this version of shredded has a nice texture. #fatbomb
Oh my God! These fresh farm eggs were so delicious! 🍳🐣I didn't realise just how good they were going to be and look at the colour of those yolks!.. Thank you to the chickie's that gave me their tasty nutritious eggs for dinner!🍳🍳🍳.. Some people say that eggs are bad for you, they're full of cholesterol, they're full of fat.... Guys.. do your research before you jump to conclusions! Don't trust everything you hear....❤️ These are packed full of nutrients , some of which you can't get in any other food.... And I'm pretty sure you can have up to 57 of these babies everyday 🥚🥚🥚 without issue..... I.e... eat as many as you want because they keep you nourished and alive!🐣🐣🐣🐣 If they're good enough to feed a baby chickie they're good enough for moi!!🍳🐣🥚❤️❤️.. #keto#nourishyourbody#ketosis#ketogenic#lchf#lowcarb#lowcarbhighfat#healthyfat#summer#chicken#eggs#cholesterollies#london
This should be a short blog post but my blog isn’t up yet! Just bear with me: As parents on social media most of us post only our children's triumphs and achievements. I’m posting this next one because it’s the opposite. My oldest daughter is a great swimmer, but as I watched her play in a doubles tennis match earlier today; I learned that the latter is not really her sport as she glanced over at me again and again with pain in her eyes. I kept giving a thumbs up and mouthing the words, “Just keep trying!" Not much compares to watching your kid work her way through pure humiliation, and with each missed ball I tried to figure out how I could support her without trying to stop her pain. We all need to experience those feelings, to know what it feels like to lose after working so hard. It's the foundation that comes from learning how to carry our emotions, process them in a healthy way and let them go. My eyes teared up after the match was over. She did it. She lost. She got angry and worked her way through it. This is her achievement. This is her triumph. Mama Bear was there with hugs, kisses and listening ears. And In the end I realized my daughter taught me lessons I never learned at that age and she doesn't even know it. 💚😉
We went home and celebrated in our own way with a new version of my sea foam smoothie:
1 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup frozen peaches
1/2 cup frozen mango
1 tbsp spirulina (I'm on a kick)
1 tbsp coconut butter
1 scoop @vitalproteins marine collagen protein
1 tbsp @sunpotion tocos
Blended to oblivion and served with chia seeds, hemp seeds and home grown mint on top.

Ah, Avocado. How Do I Love Thee? Let Me Count The Ways
I love that you complete me. Avocados provide all 18 essential amino acids necessary for the body to form a complete protein. Unlike the protein in steak, which is difficult for most people to digest, avocado protein is readily absorbed by the body, because avocados also contain fiber. If you are trying to cut down on animal sources of protein in your diet, or if you are a vegetarian or vegan seeking more protein, avocados are a great nutritional ally to include not merely as an occasional treat, but as a regular part of your diet. Highest protein content of any fruit (yes, it’s a fruit). ❤️🥑❤️🥑❤️ Check out the rest of my latest blog on the link in my profile ☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻
I love food! Rotisserie chicken and a warm kale and brussel sprout salad topped with strawberries. Who says clean eating can't be delicious😛? Bonus is I will feel more energetic and happier😀 than if I ate something processed.😟
🦐It sure feels like summer☀️
Protein is an essential macronutrient and not consuming a proper amount can definitely delay your muscle growth or weight loss- depending of your goal 🍄 Do you know your protein recommendation? It's different for everyone and here are the factors you should keep in mind. The minimal recommendation is 0.37g per lb of body weight however, if you are physically active your intake may vary between 0.6-0.9 grams per pound. That's why following your friends "diet" might not be working out for you. Seeking professional help might help you see results sooner than later. I would be happy to guide you towards the right direction, feel free to send me an email with any questions📌3oz of shrimp= 17g of Protein.
