✨This is my solution to the ridiculously expensive sugar free ones you can buy at the store or online. They took only about 15-20 minute prep time and are totally worth it. Now I can finally make the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies I’ve been eyeing up all over the place. When I go off sugar, I still allow small amounts of natural sugar in my life, especially around the holidays. Doing it this way makes it sustainable and makes it into a lifestyle rather than a diet. ✨What would you make with these chocolate chips? #mysugardetox

Melt 1/4 cup cocoa powder with 1/4 cup coconut oil and 1-2 tablespoons raw honey or maple syrup. Whisk until combined. Using s dropper, fill up silicone moles with melted chocolate. Freeze overnight. Pop out the candy and store in an airtight container in the freezer.

After seeing @afoodiegoescleanish recent delicious pasta dish from Miami, I just had to recreate it at home! I used my new fav Banza Chickpea pasta, which is gluten free and rich in protein; and made my homemade creamy tomato sauce with a bit of coconut cream 🥥 to give it a great texture. Lunch was a jacket potato with beans at Morrisons. 🤓 had a bag of smoky bacon lentil tubes earlier for 4.5 syns, and just snacked on ham and chicken. With the last week of term, study week and exam week coming up I need a stash of healthy snacks to get me through ! 
Chocolate Bliss Balls 🌱 I use pitted normal dates as the fancy Medjool dates are very expensive, but if you can afford them then they are that little bit softer. 
Blend in the food processor: 500g of dates, 2 heaped tablespoons of cocoa powder (or cacao if you prefer), 15 drops of vanilla essence, 2 heaped tablespoons of coconut flour (optional), half a cup of raw almonds, 2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil, a pinch of sea salt. Roll into balls. Store in the fridge. Enjoy with a cup of tea 🌿 Note: remember sugar is still sugar, and dates contain sugar, so don’t go overboard ! The difference between sugar found in whole foods and refined sugar, for example, is that dates also come packed full of other nutrients (fibre, calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium, zinc, B vitamins, vitamin A & K... the list goes on)

The first time I had natto, plain, I was not a big fan. It has a strong odor and taste. But my friend told me to stir it with some mustard, soy sauce,  and vinegar. And that's today's lunch, natto served on sprouted brown rice, sprinkled with nori gomasio, with a side of sautéed mushrooms. 😋
