soft-boiled eggs tutorial 🍳: bring a pot of water to a boil. then add two eggs and set the timer for 6 minutes (don't reduce the heat). while the eggs are boiling, prepare an ice bath to have ready to place your eggs in immediately (helps SO much with the removal of the shells!) once the timer goes off, place eggs in ice bath and let them cool for at least 10 minutes before cracking. and ENJOY!

For the smoothie:
1 cup frozen cauliflower
1 cup almond milk
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 Tbs ground flax or chia
2 Tbs peanut butter
1 Tbs cacao nibs

Finally typed out the recipe for my favorite winter soup! This is so incredibly easy and versatile you guys! You can customize it to pretty much your own by subbing your fav veggies or omitting the sausage 🤗Whenever I make it I double the batch so I can freeze half and pull it out when I don’t feel like cooking 🙌🏻 I saved the stories from when I made the soup in my “highlights” in my profile if you want to go back and watch 🤣
Step 1. Sauté half a white onion in a large soup pot. Once onion is cooked down a bit add 3 chopped garlic cloves and cook until fragrant.
Step 2. Brown 1lb of organic antibiotic/hormone free Italian sausage (I used the 365 brand from @wholefoods) Cook until sausage is no longer pink...adding a bit of black pepper, sea salt and nutritional yeast. ..
Step 3. Add 3 large carrots (chopped) and a can of organic diced tomatoes. You can also sub and add a different veggie of choice or add a can of cannelloni beans. ..
Step 4. To the pot, pour 1 bag of @bonafideprovisions organic Chicken Bone broth and 1C of water. Bring heat back up to boil and then reduce to a simmer for 20-30 minutes. ..
Step 5. Add 2 big handfuls of roughly chopped spinach to pot and mix through. ..
Assemble. Place more spinach at bottom of your bowl. Add a ladle or two spoonfuls of soup on top, cooked basmati rice and chopped bacon. .
Additional toppings: grass-fed cheese, avocado chunks or Tabasco 🌶 .

Coconut Thai curry🤤👊 this one is for the brave cause it's spicy AF!🌶🔥🔥. Before I went traveling I had never enjoyed eating curries, however they became an obsession while traveling😋. They were great for when I needed a break from all the rice🍚, so I would order the veggies curried in coconut milk without the rice that usually came on the side. That being said I also ate them with rice🍚 very often too! One thing I did not know about coconut milk is that it's a natural laxative which was great for those days where you need the extra help if you have IBS like myself💁♀️. Recipe:
Quinoa salted and cooked in ghee, chopped eggplant, enoki mushrooms, zuchinni, lentils, onion and garlic fried in avocado oil. Once almost cooked, add coconut milk and coconut Thai curry powder and let simmer for 3 mins. Garnish with chilli flakes and raw enoki mushrooms🍄. ENJOY🤗

was scrolling through old pics and found this scary photo & knew I had to recreate the same pic somehow 😅😱 didn’t realize back then but I literally did NOT have any muscle or shape, pretty much looked like a door frame omg...I know different ppl have different tastes and sadly in hk, girls seem to prefer being skinny, but I personally think it’s nice to have some curves 😂
➡️ thing is, these days everyone is trying hard to be “healthier” by working out and eating better. BUT social media has made it so easy for us to compare ourselves to others - countless of fitspos w/ defined abs + a big ass booty, transformation pics etc., to the point it kind of feels like a race to see who can impress the most. even when we’re tired and should be letting our bodies recover, sometimes we push ourselves to workout, so we don’t fall behind while others make progress
➡️ but speaking from experience, LISTEN TO THE BODY! eat when you’re hungry, chill when you’re tired, and just go at your own pace. and focus on what you can do and not how you look 😉
laying in bed, about to fall asleep, and dreaming about the yummy, yet super simple, breakfast i had this morning - crispy eggs (thank u @lecreuset), @simplekneads_gf sourdough bread, and some kale sprouts. fun fact: i cook my eggs in butter and slather my bread in it WHY?! because milk fat is incredibly good for you, along with lard, tallow, coconut oil, fish oil, olive oil, cocoa butter, and suet. these fats are great for brain health, digestive health, and mental health. they literally benefit you at a cellular level which is so cool to me!! every fat is not ideal for every person obviously - i use a lot of olive oil, butter, and ghee but others might prefer fish oils or coconut oil. the key is to listen to your body and do the best thing for you!!💓✨
