A favorite dinner with Salmon: 
Drizzle with honey and brush.  Then drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with garlic and pepper. 
Cook flesh side down for 8 - 10 minutes.  Then flip and cook another 3 minutes or so.  Served with steamed broccoli.

It's Friday and I'm in love ❤️ what a difference your mindset can make to your days. With everything that's been happening and then add in the fact I ran out of my capsules it really hit me hard the past few weeks. I now know more than ever just how much these supplements have been helping me. Without looking after my body, given the lack of sleep I'm getting, I should probably be curled up in the fetal position 😂 But now I've been back on them for a good week and a half and I'm back to myself and ready to get  shit done ✌️️so grateful!

Not only do I get to work from the comfort of my own home on my terms, I also get to choose to sleep in, snuggle with my partner and listen to the rain 🌧 on Friday mornings when I feel the urge.

Definitely my GRATITUDE today. 🔥
Food for thought and something that struck a cord with me today: Consider the ripple effects of making small life changes. For example, I’ve been trying to be a more active person outside of everyday training. I have a sedentary job and sit most of the day. By setting a goal completely unrelated to my physique or strength goals, I am not only perpetuating progress but also creating more bonding time with my fur daughter, an outlet for stress reduction (chronic stress ball over here) and a space to facilitate learning by listening to some of my favorite podcasts while strolling around the neighborhood (highly recommend @markbellspowercast @themfceoproject and the mastermind brain child of @laurinconlin  and @paulrevelia that is #redefinehealthyradio ). Get out of your habits and norms and you’ll find the ripple effects are well worth it! What are you working on to expand your mind? ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Okay, let's discuss fat loss and how you CAN'T spot reduce where you lose it. Unfortunately, despite what Jane Fonda VHS workout tapes from the 80's tell you, you can't actually target WHERE you lose fat.

Based on your individual genetic profile, you may be more susceptible to carrying fat in your stomach, lower body, chest, arms, etc. or even in your joints.

There's not much you can do about where your body distributes its fat, but there *are* ways to reduce fat in these areas.

Something I’ve recently discovered the power of is setting intentions. You don’t need a new moon in Libra to set an intention or even the beginning of a new month. You just need a holistic understanding of your priorities and a dedication to pursuing the things that matter most. This has become my ultimate form of self-care - setting these kind of soft ‘goals’ gives me drive + energy and holds space for my perseverance on the days I’m not quite up to the task 😬we’re working on an awesome Halloween episode of @mostlygoodpodcast and we’ll be talking about this stuff more in depth 💯🔮thanks to @thebalancedblonde @almost30podcast (@lindseysimcik + @hundredblog ) for giving me some great ideas and direction on how to begin this practice 🥑 so go put some fennel and ginger oils in your diffuser and write out those intentions - you’ll be glad ya did 💪🏼
