A few weeks ago we were in paradise for 3 weeks! I decided to make use of that time and sign up for an ocean swim race. 🏊♀️
This is a blurry photo of me - running into a giant wave.. just a few feet taller than me... uh yeahhhh! I was nervous!!!! 🌊🌊🌊
Sometimes, one just has to dive into the great big unknown and believe that you are ready to conquer what's ahead. I also knew that once I make it through the break, through those 2-3 giant waves, the water would be calm. So I dove in headfirst (under the wave) and swam with all my heart! ❤️Train hard. And then. Believe in yourself. ❤️
🏄 🏄🏼♀️ This is at the famous Ehukai Pipeline Beach in North Shore Hawaii where world surf championships are held. What a blessing to swim at this incredible location!

➰Healthy Snacking ➰
Snacks help balance your blood sugars, keep you full between meals, assist in you controlling your portion sizes at meals, prevent binging and also keep your cravings at bay.
You tend to find that those who don't include snacks throughout the day are the ones that over eat at meals and tend to binge eat.
For me, they are the key to help me control what I eat and my portion sizes. If I'm hungry enough, I'll literally eat anything in sight. So it's about always having a healthy snack on hand.
I stumbled across the health food market at @earthcafebali and picked up some dried papaya, flax crackers, kale chips and oatmeal cookies.
There are so many healthy snack options out there but I also encourage people to make their own! Make some healthy muffins, cookies or a nut and seed bar to have on hand when those hunger pangs strike 💥
TBH I'm not really into temples, churches, museums, and other typical "must-see"s when I travel. I prefer the things Mother Nature creates, and I'm also not into big crowds of tourists (see last photo). So, Ankor Wat has never been on my bucket list which is probably why I've just now come to Cambodia 🇰🇭 after 8+ years in Thailand 🇹🇭. But, I actually really enjoyed it, and thought it was so beautiful 😍. I also cycled over 30km, walked about 8km, and fed a monkey some peanuts so overall I give the whole thing a thumbs-up 👍🏽.
Eating healthy on holidays can be really hard sometimes. But not when @seacircus is just around the corner 🙏🏼
If you are trying to have a healthier holiday - when eating out opt for vegetables, lean protein, healthy fats and some complex carbs. Meals like this will keep you fuller for longer and help prevent unnecessary snacking!
But please remember it is a holiday so make sure not to be too hard on yourself and still indulge here and there, just have balance!
My go-to in Bali is a poke bowl. They seem to be everywhere and are a balanced and delicious option, so you don't feel like you are missing out 😋
SUCCESS comes by focusing on your own shit. Spending time constantly surfing the internet monitoring other people's success is the surest way to detract you from yours. No one can do anything the way you do it. You're unique in your gifts. So don't follow the herd....listen to your own instincts 😘
POST WORKOUT || Nothing quite like a post workout feed of a delicious Tuna & Quinoa Poke bowl from @pokepokecanggu
I have people constantly asking me for lots of tip and recommendations for Bali eateries etc so here is a little apology in advance for all the Bali holiday Spam. For those traveling to Bali or thinking of it, keep an eye on my stories as I won't be posting everything on my feed!
