Taking a Werlabs blood test :) One of the markers we record is Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is an important vitamin as it helps the body's nerves and blood cells function properly. It also plays an important part in DNA synthesis. Our bodies are unable to produce vitamin B12, so we have to obtain this vitamin from other sources such as our diet.
If you are suffering from a vitamin B12 deficiency, this may manifest itself through severe fatigue and irritability. Other symptoms may show as pins and needles in your legs, problems with walking, numbness of the body, and memory loss. This health check examines your vitamin B12 levels.
Wait a minute, you mean healthy food can actually taste good?? Food that fuels your body actually has flavour and is enjoyable too?? Not going to lie, a little over a year ago, I was skeptical of this too. I didn’t want to give up the foods and flavours I loved just so I could lose weight. But once I started Beachbody, I realized I didn’t have to sacrifice flavour. All of these meals I’m trying out and sharing with you here taste absolutely delicious and fill my body with the proper nutrients it needs to get through the day.
The other important thing I realized is that eating this way is not just about losing weight, it’s about loving my body and treating it right. I can tell when I’ve been eating crappy food and haven’t been prioritizing nutrition because I feel sluggish, bloated and all around gross. But, with proper portions and focusing on what I’m putting into my body, I feel light and energized.

It’s #findyourfight Friday in our MATT group and we all share about how we’re pushing through the hard so that we can achieve everything we want for ourselves.
And this is always where I find mine, looking up!
No matter if I’m leaning down, getting pushed down, falling down, or even completely failing...I find my fight by looking up!
Looking to my creator and knowing who I am. Who I’ve been created to be and finding a strength that is bigger than me.
I don’t have some incredible resolve to survive and persevere...I simply have a creator who pulls me out of the pit and fills me with a spirit of capability!
When I feel weak, I need only look up to know I’m made to do hard things. I’m not always perfect at that and I fail at staying positive almost daily but as soon as I lift my eyes up...I can tap into a power that is greater than me!
Where do you find your fight?!
As we age, our kidney function declines naturally. This decline can accelerate if you suffer from diabetes or if you are obese or a smoker. But symptoms are few until the problem is serious. Many medications need to be dose-adjusted for kidney function – and decreased kidney function drastically increases the risk of toxic side effects. According to the NHS, you can care for your kidneys by staying reasonably hydrated, especially in hot weather or when exercising, watching your blood pressure and blood sugar, as well as avoiding smoking and staying slim. A regular blood test can keep you informed about markers that might indicate kidney disease.
EATING HEALTHY WHILE TRAVELING ✈️
Going on a beach holiday to Boracay (an island in the Philippines) soon and real excited about the break! 🌴 I used to worry about eating healthily while traveling, especially with my dietary restrictions and sensitivities (true story - I got so sick of rice crackers cos they’re all I survived on while I was in India - now I won’t touch them!) 🤢

Every now and then go away, have a little relaxation, for when you come back to work your clarity will be surer. Go some distance away because then your work appears smaller and more of it can be taken at a glance and a lack of harmony and proportion is more readily seen ie if you start to loose it you know it’s time to take a few steps back. 🍃

Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis. Allows for more movement that is not vigorous exercise. Movement is key.

She got started with our MATT group at the start of the new year and in 10 days she’s already down 2 lbs (this message came though on the 10th)! She needed to make a change, threw any excuses out the window, and got committed. And because of that she’s already on her way to results instead of wishing and hoping she was.

has injuries she has to work around
had just bought Christmas presents too
She’s got all excuses everyone else has...the difference, she didn’t let them stop her! She said yes and prioritized herself. Because It makes her better at all those important roles I just listed!
And she’s making strides towards her goals and already seeing progress!
You can think about it or you can act on it...only one is going to get you the results you want!
I’m proud of her for taking action! I’m proud of her for not letting fear stop her!
