After studying Biology, and deciding Med. School wasn't for me, I changed my major so I could focus on public health works. Few understood my wild ideas for women's health, sex education, and the fight for body positivity. This is the woman who prepped me for it all and believed in my tenacity. She was more than a professor- she was a mentor, a cheerleader and is still part of my support system. Everyone needs to get them a Mary in their lives. 🙏
