Smoothie season is nearly here guys!! And to tantalise my taste buds this SALTED CARAMEL SMOOTHIE hit the spot!!! 2 weeks left till spring is spring upon us!!! And I can tell you it can't come sooner !!! 🌺🦋🍹☀️🌸🐝👙
1 large frozen banana
1 tablespoon @natureswayoz Macca powder
1 medjool date pitted
2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder I used @amazoniaco RAW cacao & Coconut
1/2 cup @pureharvest almond milk
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Pop into a high speed blender and blend till smooth and creamy ... pop into your serving bowl and top with your fav toppings ✨ I used one of my favourite brands @loving_earth ... their raw organic activated buckinis (buckwheat seeds) deluxe clusters & there creamy Mylk chocolate squares.

- 1 cup hemp milk
- 1 tbs almond butter
- 1 tbs cacao powder
- 1 banana
- Handful of ice

SUPER ENERGIZING CHOCOLATE SMOOTHIE
1 medium frozen banana
1 cup chopped strawberries
1/2 medium avocado
1 cup almond milk
1 tbsp raw honey
2 tbsp raw cocoa powder
mint leaves and blueberries to garnish

As a mom, your kids come first, as a student, your class work comes first, as a full time employee, your job comes first, in a marriage, your spouse comes first; so when do YOU come into play?
Something I've learned over the years is I can't focus on others until I fill up my cup FIRST. Sound selfish? To each your own - this has worked in my favor and has proven to be true for so many other ladies I talk to every day.
Filling up your cup first doesn't mean ignoring the kids, the homework, your job or your marriage; rather take 10-30 minutes every single day to focus on YOU. Read, meditate, work out, take a hot bath -- something to clear your mind and refocus your priorities. You'd be surprised how much you can accomplish when you take care of yourself first.
So, what are you going to do today for YOU?

Esta mañana abri un libro que me regalaron que se titula "healthy smoothie" y abrí una receta que decía smoothie de chocolate, lo empecé a preparar (creo que estaba medio dormida). Al leer los ingredientes pedían: dátiles, Cocoa, bananas, mantequilla de maní y entonces ahí paré ❌❌❌ y seguí leyendo que a pesar que todo lo que se pedía era saludable el resultado final era un smoothie de 830 calorías!!!🚫🚫🚫 y me dio mucha tristeza que haya en el mercado tanto libro e información con títulos de saludable que la gente va y prepara con ánimos de mejorar su salud y lo que logran es confundir y desinformar. Mucho de algo bueno también puede ser malo, un desayuno de 800 calorías es demasiado para las personas normales como yo y eso que no soy obsesiva con las calorías, por eso siempre quiero es enseñar a leer muy bien, a calcular y que Uds decidan cuál es lo mejor para ustedes y su familia. Este lo modifique sin echarle mantequilla de maní, solo dos dátiles, leche de almendras y medio banano. Los toppings son pocos porque no quería agregar más azúcar y solo puse una fresa y coco sin azúcar.

1 T chia seeds
Vanilla protein powder- 1 serving
Fresh mint🍃 to taste
1-2 T coconut butter
The mint and cucumber give it a very refreshing taste!! I had this after a morning run🏃♀️ and it really hit the spot👍
AND It hits my goal of protein, real-food carbs, healthy fats and fiber👌
Let's talk smoothies! My family LOVES smoothies! And there are so many varieties that you don't have to get board! We like to make a rainbow 🌈 of smoothies. I start with a vegetable (usually a few green cubes), add some of your favorite fruits, then add water almond milk or yogurt (we use plain), then choose some additives like chia seeds flax seeds or protein powder (I like the @amazinggrass brand), last choose a sweetener (we use dates or stevia). Now you have a complete, nutritious, and filling breakfast or lunch!
