Happy Tuesday peeps! I remember my friends throwing a surprise party for my 16th birthday (left) and walking in and being SO uncomfortable because people were looking at me. Snack 1: Fage 2% greek yogurt, 1/2 cup raspberries, 1 tbsp honey

Although I do eat meat every now and again I would say my diet is largely plant based with a small amount of dairy. So I thought it might be useful to show you what a day may look like for me on a bulk when not eating fish or meat: 
MEAL 1: Protein Porridge with banana and fruit
MEAL 2: Vegan Caramel Shortbread (recipe is on my blog) 
MEAL 3: tofu and salad wrap (recipe is on my blog) 
MEAL 4: @ufitdrinks bbq protein crisps - these taste so good and the macros are great
MEAL 5: vegetarian burger with avo sweet potato and greens 
MEAL 6: @coconutcollab yoghurt mixed with cacao with cereal, figs and frozen soya yoghurt 
Calories: 2200 P:140g C:275g F:47g

Before I start, I absolutely encourage you to eat a variety of vegetables .
Have you ever been told to “load up” on vegetables because they’re practically zero calories?
.
Maybe you took this advice to heart and you’re still wondering why, despite eating healthfully, you’re not losing weight.
.
The fact is, vegetables, although are an important source of fibre and micronutrients, do have calories and, as with all good things, you CAN have too much of them. .
Not all vegetables are created equal in the calories department.
.
Not to mention there’s always going to be people that hear this advice and go to town on vegetables. Which gives me this weird visual of vegetables on the loose in Vegas😂.
.
Then there’s the question of how you’re preparing your vegetables or eating them.
.
Some people will eat their veggies raw or steam them. You’re probably going to do just fine. But if you’re coming from a place of eating tasty junk foods you’re more likely to match the extra veggies, however they’re prepared, with a whole lot of condiments like Thousand Island dressing or Ranch dressing etc.
.
So you see, the advice of loading up on veggies is WAY TOO simplistic and can be potentially terrible advice. No help at all.
.
Something you eagle eyed people may have  noticed is I’ve included carrots. Even though they’re relatively lower in calories I’ve still put them in there.
.
WHY?
.
The problem is, some people will use it as a crutch to ward off hunger between meals and chomp on them endlessly and mindlessly.
.
Remember, it all adds up.
.
This post dealt with making you more aware of the calories in certain vegetables, next time I'll also give you ideas on vegetables to keep your calories low while bulking out your meals.

Food should taste good and agree with my meal plan Omega-3 Deluxe Mix to the rescue!! It is mix of Cranberries, Walnuts, Pepitas, Almonds, Pecans and Pistachios. It’s sooo good!! Of course they are nuts so you have to take it easy and measure out your servings but it's a good alternative to unhealthy chips!!! I get mine at Costco, they always have great and healthy snacks.

I've always been a nature nerd. I originally went to school for zoology, I worked in a zoo for a little bit, and I always always always need to be surrounded by trees and animals to feel at home. Right now I live in a city 🙈When I picture my life, I picture a mountain home, taking hikes at noon on a Wednesday, having so many pets my boyfriend tells me to stop bringing them home 😂, being able to travel cross country and backpack across Europe. I've always had this need to explore and understand this world and everyone in it. .
My vision for myself doesn't include a constant 9-5 schedule, or always following what's expected of me. And what I'm realizing is - that's okay. Because as I continue to push my limits of comfort, I begin to realize that what I've always dreamed of doesn't have to be a dream. I'll make it happen ✨🌲🏔✈️

Und nochmals ein Cookie-Experiment! Diesmal sind es ganz simple, aber dafür nicht weniger leckere Haselnuss-Plätzchen!
😂😂😇😇😋🌟😋😍😍🤣🤣
Aber ich wette, die würden noch viel besser schmecken (falls überhaupt möglich...😇🤣), wenn ich eines der Gewürze zur Verfügung gehabt hätte, das @momsgymfood und @spice_bar gemeinsam mit ihrer #spicyboobs -Challenge auf den Markt bringen! Deshalb muss ich da unbedingt gewinnen - denn sonst krieg ich die in der🇨🇭 leider nicht... 😔😔😔
Anyway: für die Schätzchen Haselnuss-Whey, Mandelmehl und Erythrit von @nu3_de mischen und die Masse unter ein sehr steif geschlagenes Eiklar heben, mit Flavor Drops Haselnuss von @got7nutrition abschmecken und das Ganze mit feuchten Händen zu einem Teig zusammenfügen. Diesen kurz kühl stellen und danach auf etwas Erythrit auswallen und ausstechen. Sorgfältig vom Tisch lösen (klebt!) und ca 15-20 Minuten -je nach gewünschter Knackigkeit...- backen. Nach dem Auskühlen mit gemahlenem Erythrit bestreuen - und geniessen! Das ist doch schon wieder ein Beitrag für die #daninoreen4christmas -Challenge von @par1se.fitness und @noreen_food_fitness - wenn ich nicht schon zu spät bin?!

Diesmal sind es ganz simple, aber dafür nicht weniger leckere Haselnuss-Plätzchen! 😂😂😇😇😋🌟😋😍😍🤣🤣 Aber ich wette, die würden noch viel besser schmecken (falls überhaupt möglich...😇🤣), wenn ich eines der Gewürze zur Verfügung gehabt hätte, das @momsgymfood und @spice_bar gemeinsam mit ihrer #spicyboobs  -Challenge auf den Markt bringen! Deshalb muss ich da unbedingt gewinnen - denn sonst krieg ich die in der🇨🇭 leider nicht... 😔😔😔 Anyway: für die Schätzchen Haselnuss-Whey, Mandelmehl und Erythrit von @nu3_de mischen und die Masse unter ein sehr steif geschlagenes Eiklar heben, mit Flavor Drops Haselnuss von @got7nutrition abschmecken und das Ganze mit feuchten Händen zu einem Teig zusammenfügen. Diesen kurz kühl stellen und danach auf etwas Erythrit auswallen und ausstechen. Sorgfältig vom Tisch lösen (klebt!) und ca 15-20 Minuten -je nach gewünschter Knackigkeit...- backen. Nach dem Auskühlen mit gemahlenem Erythrit bestreuen - und geniessen! I looove being able to start my day with a piece of chocolate and a cup of warm thick delicious frothy fatty energizing goodness...and not a gram of sugar or anything artificial.

The chocolate (which I dont have every day but is a nice substitute for a donut😆) is @ghirardelli 100% cacao unsweetened chocolate. (A tad bitter but is an acquired taste and especially good when washed down with a sweet drink...⬇)

My drinks usually are composed of something like this:
.
▶Collagen peptides
.
▶Raw cacao powder
.
▶Cinnamon
.
▶Maca powder
.
▶Grass fed ghee/butter
.
▶Unrefined coconut oil
.
▶MCT oil
.
▶Hot water
.
▶Coconut/almond milk or half n half (just a splash!)
.
▶Pure liquid stevia
.
▶A touch of pink himalayan salt
.
▶Sometimes some pure vanilla/almond/mint extract if I'm feelin' fancy
.
(➡Put the stuff in the cup, boil the water, put the water over the stuff, put the milk over the water, stir all the stuff, drink it up.)

Now that's what I call a pretty dang satisfyingly healthy, filling and fat-burning start to my day! What's yours?⬇

I covered up in sweatshirts and huge clothes all the time  because I wanted to hide what I looked like. My friends tried getting me to change, but I literally refused because I didn’t want to put anything tighter on. Fast forward to my 21st birthday {it’s in January but we celebrated early}. Before I start, I absolutely encourage you to eat a variety of vegetables .
Have you ever been told to “load up” on vegetables because they’re practically zero calories?
.
Maybe you took this advice to heart and you’re still wondering why, despite eating healthfully, you’re not losing weight.
.
The fact is, vegetables, although are an important source of fibre and micronutrients, do have calories and, as with all good things, you CAN have too much of them. .
Not all vegetables are created equal in the calories department.
.
Not to mention there’s always going to be people that hear this advice and go to town on vegetables. Which gives me this weird visual of vegetables on the loose in Vegas😂.
.
Then there’s the question of how you’re preparing your vegetables or eating them.
.
Some people will eat their veggies raw or steam them. You’re probably going to do just fine. But if you’re coming from a place of eating tasty junk foods you’re more likely to match the extra veggies, however they’re prepared, with a whole lot of condiments like Thousand Island dressing or Ranch dressing etc.
.
So you see, the advice of loading up on veggies is WAY TOO simplistic and can be potentially terrible advice. No help at all.
.
Something you eagle eyed people may have  noticed is I’ve included carrots. Even though they’re relatively lower in calories I’ve still put them in there.
.
WHY?
.
The problem is, some people will use it as a crutch to ward off hunger between meals and chomp on them endlessly and mindlessly.
.
Remember, it all adds up.
.
This post dealt with making you more aware of the calories in certain vegetables, next time I'll also give you ideas on vegetables to keep your calories low while bulking out your meals.

BULK full day of eating 💪🏼😋
Although I do eat meat every now and again I would say my diet is largely plant based with a small amount of dairy. So I thought it might be useful to show you what a day may look like for me on a bulk when not eating fish or meat: 
MEAL 1: Protein Porridge with banana and fruit
MEAL 2: Vegan Caramel Shortbread (recipe is on my blog) 
MEAL 3: tofu and salad wrap (recipe is on my blog) 
MEAL 4: @ufitdrinks bbq protein crisps - these taste so good and the macros are great
MEAL 5: vegetarian burger with avo sweet potato and greens 
MEAL 6: @coconutcollab yoghurt mixed with cacao with cereal, figs and frozen soya yoghurt 
Calories: 2200 P:140g C:275g F:47g

Before I start, I absolutely encourage you to eat a variety of vegetables .
Have you ever been told to “load up” on vegetables because they’re practically zero calories?
.
Maybe you took this advice to heart and you’re still wondering why, despite eating healthfully, you’re not losing weight.
.
The fact is, vegetables, although are an important source of fibre and micronutrients, do have calories and, as with all good things, you CAN have too much of them. .
Not all vegetables are created equal in the calories department.
.
Not to mention there’s always going to be people that hear this advice and go to town on vegetables. Which gives me this weird visual of vegetables on the loose in Vegas😂.
.
Then there’s the question of how you’re preparing your vegetables or eating them.
.
Some people will eat their veggies raw or steam them. You’re probably going to do just fine. But if you’re coming from a place of eating tasty junk foods you’re more likely to match the extra veggies, however they’re prepared, with a whole lot of condiments like Thousand Island dressing or Ranch dressing etc.
.
So you see, the advice of loading up on veggies is WAY TOO simplistic and can be potentially terrible advice. No help at all.
.
Something you eagle eyed people may have  noticed is I’ve included carrots. Even though they’re relatively lower in calories I’ve still put them in there.
.
WHY?
.
The problem is, some people will use it as a crutch to ward off hunger between meals and chomp on them endlessly and mindlessly.
.
Remember, it all adds up.
.
This post dealt with making you more aware of the calories in certain vegetables, next time I'll also give you ideas on vegetables to keep your calories low while bulking out your meals.
