Summer has well and truly hit our Aussie shores, so stay hydrated, cool down and treat yo self the right way with these healthy watermelon ice blocks. Loaded with 18 serves of veggies in each icey block, using @natureswayoz Super Greens 🙌🏼 Want to try before you buy? What’s in the fridge ?... Steak n’ cheese snacks for dinner w/ sous vide Flank cold-cuts, truffle gouda, creamy carboncino and St. Agur blue w/ crisp red grapes and a cuppa homemade beef bone broth.
This was a grass fed flank steak sous vide w/ smoked pork belly fat. 130F for 4.5 hours, ice bath chill, fridge overnight, then quick sear on the grill.
Made a set of cookie dough protein balls🍪 (NO PROTEIN POWDER!) with some of my FAVORITE ingredients! Adapted this recipe to make it with NO REFINED SUGAR! Talk about delicious and nutritious😍.

- 1 can drained and rinsed chickpeas
-1/2 cup @eatnuttzo #PowerFuelNuttZo
-6 medjool dates
-1 tsp vanilla
-1/4 cup coconut flour
-Pinch of salt
-Mix in of choice: chocolate chips for me!
•In a food processor, combine all wet ingredients and blend until smooth. Then, in a separate bowl, add the processed mixture and fold in coconut flour, salt, and additional mix-ins. Roll into balls and store in fridge for at least 20 minutes before eating🤗.

Snack 1: Fage 2% greek yogurt, 1/2 cup raspberries, 1 tbsp honey
Snack 2: 1 rice cake, 2 tbsp almond butter, 1/2 tbsp chocolate chip
Snack 3: @shakeology protein shake
Snack 4: 500g Watermelon
Snack 5: 1 cup whole strawberries + 20g dark chocolate
Snack 6: 1 medium apple + 1 tbsp peanut butter

I feel like my kids are constantly eating fruit. 😩 We run through fruit like there’s no tomorrow. In a week, we’ve already had to make 3 grocery runs for more fruit. T H R E E!!!! CHOC MINT BLISS BALLS ⬇️
1.5 cups walnuts
8 medjool dates, pitted
40g almond butter
1/4 cup cacao powder
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
1 tsp peppermint essence
Blend all ingredients together in a food processor. Roll mixture into balls then store in a container in the fridge for 2 weeks or freeze 😛😋
Post op Super Shake. During times of stress or trauma our body doesn’t utilize substrates the same as a healthy body. We have to increase our protein levels and add in glutamine & taurine as they become conditionally essential amino acids. Increasing calories alone won’t save your lean body mass it’s what in those calories that makes a difference. Post operative nutrition is 🔑 for all athletes and even general population. Acia Protein Shake
1 packet unsweetened Acia
1 scoop Dymatize ISO 100
1/2 frozen banana
1 tbsp raw cacao nibs
Carrot and Apple Muffins
✅Nut free ✅ refined sugar free
1 apple, grated
1 carrot, grated
1/2 cup sultanas
1 cup wholemeal self raising flour
1 cup white self raising flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup plain greek yoghurt
1/2 cup milk
40g melted butter or oil of choice
In a large bowl put apple, carrot, sultanas, flour and cinnamon. In a separate bowl combine egg, yoghurt, milk and butter/oil. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and gently combine. Fill greased muffin tins, bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes, enjoy 😊
