my main problem is eating. All I do all day is eat upon eat upon eat and then sit on my butt. I looked up some suggested snacks and had a recommendation from a friend and then went out and bought them for myself. I hear snacking instead of binge eating on bad carbs and sugars is the key to weight loss and health. I've also vowed to cut out soda and sugary drinks for the most part which will be the most difficult for me. If you know me you know that soda is my life. I can and will do this. If you have an snack recommendations, I'm all ears. Or meal recommendations. ❤️

🔹Getting my apartment furniture delivered and set up, and accidentally locking the delivery men out of my building

🔹Working on lessons because school 👏🏻 starts 👏🏻 this 👏🏻 weeeeeeeeek! I am beyond excited. Anyone else? Just me? K 🤓 I'm a notorious nerd in case y'all didn't know.
Embracing change was something I struggled so much with when I was in high school and college. I was afraid of the unknown, afraid of failing, afraid of not having everything "figured out." But like...what is there for me to "figure out" that God hasn't already? Why spend time worrying about the future and dreading change when that change is probably a blessing coming from God? I'm ecstatic to see what He's got in store for me these coming months. Ok that was pretty philosophical for a photo of a NoCow bar but 🤷🏼♀️ have a wonderful Saturday fam. Bless y'all. ❤️

Simplicity is key for me. Not a lot of fancy flavors or crazy ingredients. I like to keep my plate simply healthy. Try some fresh arugula with roasted cauli topped with fresh lemon juice, olive oil, parm, and a sprinkle of salt. Double tap if you like to keep your dining simple. Don't get me wrong, I am a massive Cadbury fan, but to get my daily chocolate fix without going over my macros, well naturally is my go to chocolate snack. And it tastes amazing.

We @beaanfit made some super easy banana oatmeal/special flake cookies and they turned out to be pretty nice 👌👌

Today's food. Lazy morning calls for baked oats with Almond essence and raspberries. Served with Apple and quark. Lunch was a speedy topped "egg" pizza. 2 eggs topped with mushrooms, pepper, ham and 20g reduced fat cheddar. Dinner was veggie mayflower curry served with SW chips. If there is one thing I'm proud of, it's how my Saturday eating habits have changed. I have not had a takeaway in 2017. I used to have fresh pastries and something from the fresh bakery every Saturday. Coming to the realisation that I just can't eat like that anymore has been hard, but I've done it. Truth bomb I'm struggling with this week. Sure my challengers and accountability partners are #beasts and it gives me more encouragement daily than doing it on my own...but it's still my decision, my effort, my willpower. Today my hubby kicked me to the basement (almost literally) to get my workout in while I was being a lazy slob on the couch whining about wanting to workout but also being tired.
So thankful he was a #meany (out of love of course) because I just pushed my way through 45 minutes of speed and strength outside on the patio and now feel so much better about myself than when I started. Funny how it always ends that way yet somedays I dread so much going and getting it done.
My motto through all of this: I just keep moving forward. That's the only direction I'm allowing myself to move.
Making my own fruit & nut mix 🥜🥜 Layered a Kilner jar with almonds, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, goji berries, dried cranberries, dried chopped figs and gave it a good old shake. Happy snacking! 😍
