How to stay on track while you're on vacation and still have fun!:
✔️Start your day off with a hearty breakfast of proteins, fats and veggies. While I've been home, eggs and fresh tomatoes and cucumbers have been my go-to 🙌🏻🙌🏻.
✔️Plan ahead! If you know you're going to be eating a dinner out with family and it's not going to be healthy, eat modestly throughout the day and focus on eating lean proteins and veggies.
✔️Move as much as you can throughout the day. Swimming, biking and other outdoor activities all count 👌🏻.
✔️Don't stress about being "perfect". Focus on maintaining a healthy balance and being in the moment with friends and family. Vacations are meant to be enjoyed and leave you feeling mentally and physically refreshed ☺️

There's runners high, I know I've felt it. There's also a yoga high ... and this is what the blissed out feeling of a yoga high looks like.. I put the headset on and listen to music that moves me and I spend 60 minutes intuitively getting into my body. 60 minutes inhaling as I hear my thoughts flash by faster than I can think them.. and I exhale.... releasing all the tight places, all the uncomfortable - I crave my self practice ... deeply and when I am missing it, I really feel it everywhere in my being. It doesn't have to be 60 minutes of yoga asanas, my self practice is on and off the mat, it's time for me to get into my own mind, my own body, my own little universe. Sometimes, it's a walk in the woods over rivers past waterfalls bouncing from one boulder rock to the next carefree and sometimes it's a 20 min meditation, sometimes it's two hours of yoga and mat play, sometimes it's burying my imagination into Kerouac or Bukowski , or finding inspiration in Pablo Neruda, sometimes my pen bleeds ink in the margins of books or fills pages in a leather bound journal.. yoga is a practice, on and off the mat.

I managed to keep close to my goals and lose 1.8 pounds while on vacation! So grateful to @crushfit Go! workouts keeping me on track while away from home. Finding a balance between health and indulgence is possible. Now I have two days left of Phase 1 of Crush at Home!
This lake side BBQ shared with us from one of dietitians has us jealous! On their healthy BBQ menu: grilled chicken, spinach salad, steamed broccoli, corn on the cob, grilled onions, and baked potatoes. We are patiently awaiting our invitation 😊for the next one!
I was racking my brain trying to find my Tranquil Roll-On, and then remembered that the backpack that came out in the boat with us every day of our vacation hadn't yet been unpacked.

And now, I can put my Tranquil back in the bag-o-oils I carry in my purse!
