Pretty cool setup! Just because I'm on vacation, doesn't mean it's an all out free for all. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely going to enjoy myself. But I know that I will be able to go back home and I won't have to "diet" because I ate so badly on vacation. No gross hotel meals for this girl! 👍🏻😉 (and yes, I brought my blender with me lol)

Vacation used to be an excuse to eat junk and take out all the time! We aren't perfect but knowing that we can plan and eat in with fresh fruit and a side salad with low fat Caesar dressing to keep the entire family on track is an amazing feeling. We made every meal we've had since we got here. I'm so proud of us as a family and the example we are setting for the kids!
This week hubs and I have been disconnected (for the most part) from much of what makes our lives so fast paced and a lot of the time, stressful. Without tv and internet, we have quickly fallen back on the simplicities in life that have always made us happy. Being outside, talking to each other - like realllyyy talking to each other, & reading. We are reconnecting with each other and more importantly, ourselves.
I encourage you all to slow down every once in awhile. Turn off your phones and tv. Have a glass of wine and a conversation with someone you love. Sit outside by yourself and watch the sunset. You'd be surprised how good it makes you feel 🤗
Staying healthy while on vacation does not have to be hard. It's ok to enjoy yourself, but sometimes buying some necessities for some meals is a good idea if you want to save some money (and watch your waist line too😉)
Here is a salad 🥗 that I made myself at my beach 🌊 house 🏡 I topped it with tomato 🍅 and avocado 🥑 that I purchased from the local farm stand 👩🏼🌾, some @terrachips from the airplane ✈️ ride and caesar dressing😋👌🏼
My day: sleep in, pump, breakfast, track workout, lunch, pump, nap, drink some wine, hang out by the pool & swim some laps, snack on smoothies + chips & guac, workout at the gym, dinner, pump, & hopefully in bed by 9pm 🙏🏽 #ParentLife#FitParents#SavorTheRanch

Damn its hot in #sanfrancisco … summer has arrived! It’s time to go spend a weekend in nature on a farm and at the beach. Join me for my retreat @thelotusfeed July 28039th. I’ve been leading a handful of retreat all year- from Bali to Mexico- and after these retreats i notice something truly amazing. Before retreat, I look out at my class and see a handful of beauties who will be joining me on retreat sitting next to each other not even knowing it. So I’ll introduce them and say, Hey so & so is going on retreat with you, they shyly say hi and walk away.I get it, it’s hard to take off the mask, break down the walls while still in the city and be able to meet someone new. After retreat, I’ll walk into the studio and things have changed- the energy is powerful- people are laughing, hugging and chatting- the once strangers are now best friends. THIS is why I do this work. We come home from retreat brighter & stronger because we have found community where we can be our truest self. We let go, we cry, we share our shadows, and our pain, we listen to each other and we care for each other. Bringing people together like this is what makes my heart beat. Let’s do it one more time, just for a weekend, short & sweet, its potency will be just as strong. You coming?
Hubs & i finally made it to @rancholapuerta, which means no baby 😩😏 for the next 4 nights, tons of fitness classes, trail runs, hikes, and food that tastes as good as mine. Im pretty much in heaven 🙏🏽
