A lot of people ask me why I spend so much time and money on food. Because I believe is our body's natural medicine. If I give my body TLC now, it will repay me later down the track of life. Maybe even now. There's a reason why I still get mistaken for a teenager!
It's hot as out so I wasn't feeling warm porridge this morning. Instead I made a supercharged chia and ground flax seed pudding with coconut rice milk, vanilla powder, fresh ginger, cardamom, maca powder, camu camu powder and topped it with leftover roasted sweet potato, cinnamon, pomegranate, toasted almonds, coconut chips and the daily dose of hemp seeds 🌱💚💦

Easy pasta salad recipe:
Red lentil pasta
Italian dressing (most are vegan)
Veggies (I thawed out some frozen peppers & onions)
Anything else (I used chickpeas & olives)
Cook pasta for 7-8 minutes then drain and rinse with cold water. Put pasta in a bowl and stick it in the fridge while you prepare the rest of the ingredients. Mix them all together for a healthy meal with lots of leftovers #😍#🤤

Dreaming back to my lunch earlier today... mainly those spicy chickpeas though! 🤤 😍 .
I'll be honest, lately I have been feeling pretty sluggish and run down and I know that's because I've probably neglected myself a little. Last weekend was the first time in a long while that I took time off and just stopped and boy did I need it - I was asleep more hours than I was awake 😴 (that is not even an exaggeration!) It just proves that there is only so much your body can let you do and while everyone handles stress and work load and life admin and personal struggles differently, it is so so important to set time aside for YOU! So, this week has been about rejuvenation and boosting my immune system with big bowls full of raw, plant based, vegan goodness (and sleeping lots more of course 😉) 👌🏼🌱💚 Look after yourself and love yourself people!🌞🌻
Still may fav go to meal! Bean chilli, lettuce, corn and couscous 🌱 Even better (& so much cheaper) than last night's meal out. Every time I have it I catch myself wondering why I don't have it more often! Every time!
