When you are on a “diet” and have a MAJOR sweet tooth for anything chocolate, brownies and mint ice cream, it’s really hard!😂😭
But we gotta stick to our goals and keep pushing ourselves!🙌🏼
What are your favorite treats!?✨💞
I am grateful for life today. I am so blessed. I have been feeling such a heightened sense of engagement the past 2 weeks. Well, maybe these past 6 weeks. Since the Thomas Fire sent me fleeing from my favorite place in the world, Santa Barbara. A day after leaving, I found myself 10 hours away in Mount Shasta, thankfully breathing cool, fresh air. And though the fire was just beginning, and the mudslide was still a month away, I already sensed that things were happening and that life was no longer going to be the same. Since that time in early December, life has, as my friend said today about his own circumstances, tested my resilience. There has been much heartache for me personally, and for my entire community. I’m still processing what we’ve been going through - people dying, homes and neighborhoods destroyed, some of my most sacred places now gone or inaccessible. I admit, it’s left me feeling sadness. Yet at the same time, I’m also feeling so damn alive. Like, there’s not a fucking moment to waste. .
I want to take a moment and appreciate the life of my only support animal, he didn’t talk back, didn’t like people near him and only sat on my lap if I was sitting down but I loved him soooo much and he was so funny. He was this little featherless thing and turned into a huge and heavy feathered ugly turkey. I’m sure none of us will forget how he danced every time someone pulled in the driveway and how him and the goat were best friends. I love you buddy, i hope your happy in turkey heaven🤷🏼♀️❤️🦃
