Wowsers I know this isn't much to a lot of people but this is huge definition for me 😁 today I did a few of @evolvingalpha shoulder workout that Lauren posted (it's hard AF btw!!), then setted some bis and tris and lowered the weight and focused on going real slow and engaging the muscle -- I will be sore tomorrow. I've noticed a huge change in the last couple of weeks just by changing up my tempos and adding in drop sets and super sets again 💚🌱

Quick and easy pre-workout snack with leftovers! I call this one chickpea and kidney bean pizza 👅👅 corn tortilla with chickpea and kidney bean puree and some mashed potato (leftover vegan shepards pie) with sauteed brocolli, zucchini, and mango. I haaaavvvee to have 🍍🍍 on my pizza. No pineapple + fresh juicy mango = mango on pizza. Did I eat this in slices... or wrap it up like a taco and stuff my face? Doesn't matter. 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 scoop cacao LivWell plant protein
1/2 cup acai juice .

Was feeling a bit under the weather this morning but started work late so had the time to make a yummy bowl of oats ☺️🙌🏻 feeling a bit better this evening, looking forward to the weekend with lie ins & gym time, yay. Bought oat milk at Tesco today - tastes super yummy & sweet, can't wait to combine it with some oats haha :-)
When dinner is simple, I am happy. 🙃As much as I love cooking in the kitchen, I totally understand some of my clients that feel like they don't even want to bother. So on days like today where the work week has finally knocked me for a loop, a bowl like this is so critical to me to keep me eating healthfully. 💪🏽 I like to batch cook some sweet potatoes and at least one legume to have on hand at all times during the week. Makes throwing a bowl like this together in 5 minutes easy peasy. 👌🏽In my bowl you'll see I had some 🍠, cilantro, cherry 🍅, lentils, sauteed zucchini, and 🥕 ribbons topped with everything but the bagel seasoning and a dollop of my favorite Blazin' Hummus from @hummustir. The hummus alone has so much flavor and it is so creamy, it becomes the perfect condiment for my sweet potato. It's soooo good. 🤤

The left side was taken sometime between 2010 - 2012 and the right side was taken today. Some will say I'm too skinny now. I've heard it all before. In fact, I went for a few weeks buying fatty vegan junk food like ice cream and potato chips in an effort to gain some weight to make others feel more comfortable with how I look. I'm over it. I watched an excellent youtube video recently of @therealchefaj where she said that when people say things like that, what are they comparing you to? She really put it into perspective for me. Over the last 3 years I have consistently consumed 2000 or more calories daily. 🍎🍊🍓🍇🍉🍌🍍🌽🥔🥔🥔🥔🥗🥗🌮🥙🍝 I eat a much higher volume of food than my 6'1", 200+ lb omnivore husband. He'll gladly vouch for me!
