After a mini-unit on resume writing, cover letters, job skills, and email etiquette, my students completed three rounds of Mock Interviews as the interviewers and interviewees with various "companies" looking for employees. They got to choose who to hire, and constructively critique those that could improve. Then, they will receive their performance ratings back. After a reflection over their performance, we will move on to our next unit.
Overall, they felt more confident and have shown progression. Students even evaluated me on my performance and rated this lesson "a 10/10. I would do this again!" 😂😂 .
Shout out to the @pvschools juniors who scored a truckload of medals at the @arizonadeca district competition today. Thank you for taking the time to tour W. P. Carey to learn about the entrepreneurship opportunities and all the other amazing things you can accomplish here.
This is a question you should be asking yourself if you are a junior. One simple way to find out is by:
(1) looking at how you scored on the PSAT (2) then taking a practice ACT test online from the ACT website
(3) compare both scores and see where you tested better.
