How do you take advantage of a day off? I like to balance my relaxing time with some sweat time.
I find myself much more productive when I get a sweat session in. And bonus I feel better mentally and physically.

In my usual #holidayeve#tradition of getting out of work early + the gym only has usual evening classes - I splurge and find a studio with 4pm class ... but splurge no more! @bricknewyork ... it has #free first class!! So my review of the #bx class ... it’s a mix btwn #hiit and #crossfit and if you know me, you know I’m terrified of anything CrossFit, but I’m aware I need to focus on #strengthtraining so I was happy to give this a shot ... and glad I did because it wasn’t intimidating at all - and naturally I sweat, because I always do, and I learnt quite a bit on form (and dropped a #dumbbell on my finger when I was instructed to use them instead of the #barbell Bc it was too heavy for me #fail )- 9/10 ! - instructor @dellpolanco - this guy was good. He spotted me across the room terrified of #kettlebells and came to help - constantly reminded how much time is left + always moving (10/10), instructor giving individual attention - yes yes yes. Tons of corrections, modifications and then came back on your next round to make sure you were following ... and didn’t revert to habit (10/10), showers - yes! A few, in large bathrooms with wood floor panels and room to change, etc. I’ve got mixed feelings on this because if they are used, that means bathrooms and changing space is used too (7/10), blowdryers - I honestly don’t remember them ... that’s not a good sign (6/20), water - bottle filler (10/10), location - #grandcentral also #chelsea (10/10), atmosphere - #fitfam everyone was into it, even newbies (8/10), facilities - entry on main floor, 2 big rooms downstairs for classes, 1 room open CrossFit + Big center area for stretching + bleachers, locker room + restroom upstairs (didn’t check those (8/10), stuff - bathrooms stocked - razors, tampons, spray antiperspirant (8/10), towels - #towelsforants (6/10), entrance - small, no seating (6/10) - all in all - exposure to CrossFit in a small group setting + help w/ form - Ie, I’m looking at package prices now ... #crossfitgirls#weights#bricknewyork#fitfamny#classpass#workout#fitspiration#rowingmachine#beginnercrossfitter#beginnercrossfit#fitgirlsguide#gymspiration#gymlife#givemeals#hiittraining

Day 3 of Instagram logging!🙌🏻🖤 Today I had Uncle Sam’s cereal for breakfast with blueberries, almond milk, and stevia. For lunch I had leftover baked dreamfields pasta from dinner the night before. For dinner I had sushi 🍣 with a side salad 🥗 (which I forgot to take a picture of! 😐). Check out my calories on my Lose It! App (last photo). Under 1,000 calories today.👌🏻 For my workout I did 25 minutes of HIIT training at about 11:30 today (before lunch).
