Too Perfect to be Real... The Chocolate Hills (How God is wonderful in His creatures) Splendid.
The chocolate hills consist of are no less than 1268 hills (some claim this to be the exact number). They are very uniform in shape and mostly between 30 and 50 meters high. This month marks 1 year and 1/2 of #running with my husband using the #HIIT approach. We've had to hit some #hills and it has really been a #challenge for my #Fibrobody . In addition, I've been concerned about the #incline due to a weak #knee I have and other #Fibro related symptoms I've had to address but little did I know it has actually worked to my advantage.
According to Lisa Ehler Curley of #FibroFit People, "when it comes to #walking and #running with #Fibromyalgia use incline for not only #muscle activation, but to take some pressure off #joints and #weight bearing areas of the Fibro body...you see, many people tend to think that when we are using incline that we are just utilizing it mostly to get the heart rate up or increase our intensity ...but actually what this does is help to create more #muscleactivation which protects both muscle and joints.
So, if you have (up)hills in your neighborhood take advantage of them. This creates less pressure on the weight bearing areas of the body.. pretty much the opposite of an all flat track..." I still have a long way to go. But my body sure feels #stronger this year than it did last year! 😄💪🏼 #liriosrealpureandsimple#movingforwards#healingjourney#godismyhealer#blessedwelivehawaii#dontgiveupnow
