Everyone you meet has something important to teach you that may change your life. In fact, many of your greatest accomplishments in life will come when you are able to bless someone else while you are going through your own storm. So regardless of what’s going on in your life, be gentle and kind. Think before you speak and act. Always remember that the words and actions you choose can only be forgiven, not forgotten. You were made to make a difference, so embrace every opportunity to do so. No act of your kindness, no matter how tiny, will ever be wasted.
Happy Monday my loves 😘😘😘
My favorite time of night is when the sun starts to dip and its light creates a soft glow like in this little cuties hair. It makes for such a pretty picture. Speaking of the sun, Is anyone out there watching the eclipse? #familyphotographer#goldenhour#chicagoportraits
EMBRACE YOUR OWN BEAUTY.
As much as we need to accept and embrace the reality of our situations, most importantly we need to accept ourselves - no matter what we look like internally or externally. If we can’t love ourselves for whom we are, then how are we ever going to feel good enough to get what we want? If we ever want to find a loving relationship, get the job of our dreams, or achieve our aspirations, we must have this one belief ingrained into our mind:
The only person who can decide that we're good enough, smart enough, and beautiful enough is us.
I learned hard way to accept the fact that you can be the most loving, caring and giving person and that still might be not enough for some people. My lesson is - not taking it personally. It's not really matter of what we do, but what they believe we should do or how we should live our life based on their own vision. Take a charge of your life and live it - UNAPOLOGETICALLY.
Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be.
Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO BE ANYTHING THAN HAPPY ❤️

Hey beautiful people 😘😘😘 Taking 30 minutes every Sunday and giving yourself the gift of self reflection works magics. It has worked wonders for me, and I am confident it will do the same for you. Never stop moving forward❣️ Happy Sunday!
DOUG!!❤️ (Forgive the gushing audio but when we come across a 7 years young sweet love nugget like DOUG, it's hard to contain the gush!) He was overlooked at yesterday's #ClearTheShelters event but he's ready to make Sunday a Funday for the forever family that adopts him!! DOUG would benefit from frequent strolls to help him with his luscious love handles, but who wouldn't love a walking buddy as autumn in this beautiful town approaches??? Stop by @hinsdalehumanesociety today. Doors open at 10am. #adoptdontshop

Keema ❤️ Small adjustments of the traditional recipe makes it fitness friendly and adds a flavor to your meal prep 😘😘😘 Leftovers make a perfect omelette next day! Give a try!!! This recipe for Indian keema or mince can be made with any meat you prefer - chicken, lamb, beef, or any you prefer.
The dish is extremely versatile and simply changing the masala can result in a great new taste each time.
I used homemade chicken mince hence looks grainy, if using ready ground meat the texture looks less grainy and uniform.
Ingredients I used:
• olive oil in spray
• 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
• 2 medium finely chopped onions
• 5-6 minced garlic cloves
• 1 inch minced fresh ginger • 2 tablespoons coriander
• 1 tablespoon cumin
• 1 tablespoon garam masala
• Salt to taste
• 1 pound (1/2 kg) ground turkey (you can use any ground meat you prefer for this recipe)
• 2 medium finely chopped tomatoes
• Juice of 1/2 lime or lemon
• Chopped cilantro leaves for garnish
If you have any leftover, lucky you. It tastes even better the next day and makes a great toasted sandwich or wrap filling. If you can't or don't want to use it the next day, keema freezes brilliantly for later.
