Las bebidas o "leches vegetales" son cada vez más utilizadas y es por ello que os queremos hablar de este tema!
➡️Hasta hace pocos años, prácticamente la única alternativa vegetal que conocíamos era la bebida de soja, pero hoy en día, ya tenemos leches vegetales de todo tipo  tales como la de avena,arroz, almendra, avellana, quinoa...
➡️ En nuestra consulta nutricional @menthaquatica estamos especializados en la realización de un test llamado TMH Nutrifarma ( test de medición de histamina) en el que vamos a ver si un paciente padece "sensibilidad alimentaria", es decir, si hay alimentos que no nos sientan bien y dan los siguientes síntomas ( hinchazón abdominal, diarreas, estreñimiento, gases, migrañas, cansancio, piel seca o atópica, etc...)
➡️ Cada vez hay más personas que presentan estos síntomas (en un alto % a la leche de vaca) y no saben que esto puede deberse a una sensibilidad a ciertos alimentos...
➡️A grandes rasgos , la diferencia principal entre la leche de vaca y bebidas vegetales está en:

Woke up and it’s blue skies and beautiful sunshine ☀️.
But after a dash to the doctors to get an appointment for next week (due to stupid appointment booking system) I’m feeling very ‘off’.
So I thought I’d post a pretty picture of a flower snapped in a greenhouse a few days ago.
It seems like a long time since summer.
Of course there are beautifully aspects of nature around.
But it’s not quite the same as being able to sit and have a picnic in the park.
I think that’s why I’m feeling a bit low.
Stuck inside due to the cold isn’t how I like to live.
Not that I can be out and about all the time - I’m far too tired for that!
But I do feel that fresh air and warmth is ‘healing’ in some way.
Both to mind and body.
Hope the skies are blue and there is some warmth from the sun where you are.
If you’re in the 🇬🇧 then hopefully it’s not too long until spring!

Hi everyone. On Saturday I found some fresh cranberries at the grocery store and thought of making some muffins. And it turned out to be very tasty!

🔶 I chopped one glass of cranberries and added them in one and a half cups of spelt flour.

🔶 I also used dried dates instead of sugar which is the healthiest way. For dough, I used oat milk. So it's all histamine free and vegan and super healthy! 😊

Tuna with a mix of sundried tomatoes, onion, green peppers and zucchini 😋 But wait! Aren’t tuna and sundried tomatoes #highhistamine ? So how come I can have them for dinner, together? Well, it’s all because they were canned in olive oil. When I eat high histamine foods mast cells in my stomach reacts, releasing histamine which raises stomach acid. The high stomach acid irritates mucosa in my throat and mucosa swell. Result is that I feel I have a potato stuck halfway down my throat, I lose my voice, sinuses my swell too so my ears clog and troubles breathing. When I add olive oil (or lard) this doesn’t happen or however to a much less degree. Why? I really don’t know. But it works. Only explanation I can think of is that the fat has some coating effect on the stomach mucosa and prevent reaction. Do you know why? I have an extremele active 16 month baby who is my life and i love with my soul but I am tired! #tiredmommydiaries will be my next IG account😂😂 . So today I am at the end of my #day3 #metropack #Methylpednisone course and as you can see it looks like #afterwarzone. You can still see some redness but the #flareup is completly gone. My skin is not open or bleeding any more. It is very dry and cracked and it hurts smiling because its so #dry that as soon as I start smiling, my #postwarwounds can reopen again. This is when your skin is more accepting and you can quench your skin; topical creams will come handy until the end of this treatment and as my face and body keep healing.  I feel much better now and my skin is starting to feel so much better already! Ill keep you all posted tomorrow! What can I say, I'm truly an aquatics and dog person to the core! Still in love with horses though; bring on the antihistamines. This is my daily routine my friends! Two #inhalers as I experience shortness of breathe at least 2 times per day, #cetaphileczemacalming body lotion to quench my extremily thirsty and cracked skin. Topical creams, one for my face and delicate parts , and the other 2 for the rest of my body where needed. I must tell you,  everytime I get a #rash it is impossible to put any type of #topicalcream on my skin as my skin and body are so vulnerable and overreacting, that I even make a reaction to any lotion or cream, even water! Now this is my treatment for my skin for now. I will post later on the medications I take. I will be posting soon a picture of my face as I am almost done with #day3 of my #metropack #Methylpednisone course and feeling so much better!. Still a bit itchy but that is normal. I do have to say this meds take a toll on you as the secondary effects are the worst! #Methylpednisone makes you feel extremely anxious and out of it or #pmsi as I could best describe the feeling. The other meds will make you exteemely drowsy and sleepy! But it's worth it. Between drowsiness and anxiousness with probably an hour cry as you express your frustration at not being able to control your emotions, or an itchy, on fire feeling, bleeding and painful skin, i prefer option number one! Along with starting yoga I have also decided to tackle my idiopathic anaphylaxis. #nofilter this is my second day on the #metropack #Methylpednisone course. Today I had to take 6 pills each containing 4 mg of #Methylpednisone. As you can see, the inflammation and redness are much better but still itchy! I am also tajing 2 #allegras and #zantac pills per day and at night 10 mg of #hidroxixyne, so yes I am pretty heavily medicated but at this point, meds and topical creams are the only way out of this strong #allergicreaction. As I was trying to figure out how the hell I was going to afford #LymeDisease treatment I came across the phrase, ❤"Let food be thy medicine"❤ It changed everything 💚 AND I can afford it. It took a ton of hit and miss while figuring out the ins and outs of the #histamine connection and inflammation.At times I became extremely discouraged and wanted to give up..... but I didn't. 
Understanding the histamine connection is a true game changer, y'all. Seriously. I was SO FRUSTRATED by food that I had pretty much begun  starving myself. Everything I ate bothered me. I couldn't understand why. I was doing what I wad told but nothing got better..... until now. 
Y'all listen, two years ago I was in a wheelchair. I felt like i was dying and I wished for it. My husband had left me (which ended up being the best outcome ever) and I was homeless in organ failure and had no money to treat.... or live for that matter (hence the camper). So what I did was what i could. I refrained from beating myself up for the circumstances i found myself inn. I offered myself some mercy and i ate as well as I could ( although I am a chronic cheater when I comes to cheating with food, I admit). Then I found #metaphysicalanatomy
Which then catapulted me into further healing. Today, I'm off all the pain relieving herbs I was once on. I'm active and happy. I take care of myself physically, emotionally and spiritually. Guess what? It works!!!!

Hab mich heut mal an einer Pizza versucht (Rezept und inspiriert durch @mlind7777 - Danke!!🤗)...Teig aus 250g Dinkelmehl, 1/2 El Salz, 1 1/2 EL Olivenöl und 150 ml warmes Wasser mit 1 geraspelten Zucchini ohne Schale, 1 Fenchel, Kochschinken, Paprikasoße, Basilikum (beim nächsten Mal wohl nicht mit in den Ofen 🤔🙈) und junger geraspelter Gouda ....für 30-40 min bei  200 Grad in den Ofen....🙂

Ingredients:
190g rice flour
150g quinoa flour
2 heaped tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. agar agar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. bread seasoning (I used flax and chia seeds as they work for me.)
480ml water
2 tbsp. chia seed flour + 6 tbsp. water

🔶 First prepare the chia seed mix with water. Leave aside and to thicken.

Meanwhile mix the dry ingredients, then add the chia seed mix and the liquids. Mix everything well with a large eggbeater or hand mixer.

Pour the dough in an oiled loaf pan (I used olive oil as it's the healthiest option).

Scatter whichever seed is working for your intolerance.

Bake for about 50 minutes at about 190°C. And voilà!

Among my fun list of conditions is #histamineintolerance 🙉. Unfortunately, salmon can really bring this out at times. I have no idea why, but the frozen salmon from @costco (Kirkland Atlantic Salmon) sits so well with me and doesn't aggravate symptoms!! It also brings out the flavor of spices quite well, and doesn't taste too fishy 🐟 .
