In November I felt discouraged because I still hadn’t found the culprit behind my weight gain, extreme fatigue and joint pain/inflammation. It seemed like no matter how “healthy” I ate, no matter how hard I worked out, nothing really changed. I finished my first round of @80dayobsession strong, following it to a T, but then threw the towel in while I continued to dig into my health issues. Finally in December I found out what was wrong! Answers! Finally! But....Then came the holidays, my routine flew out the window with having the kids home, then I stalled. My birthday was coming & then the 80 Day Obsession restart date on January 15th. So yesterday I restarted my journey with a solid 20-25 lbs to lose to get back to where I felt comfortable. I’m proud to say that today was Day 2 of nutrition on point 🎯 & slaying my workout — I’m down 5.4 lbs since Sunday night. Feels good to get the bloating under control. It feels good to get my life, eating habits and health under control. Watch me, join me. Love me, hate me. I’m dedicated to this lifestyle no matter what gets thrown my way!

Speaking of holidays, muffin tops, and busted biscuit cans-- how did all of you survive the holidays? Did you fall off the wagon or did you stay somewhat true to your every day eating? Are you holding yourself accountable for anything? Are you reaching your goals still?
When you have any health and fitness goals, 100% goes into EVERYTHING. I can't stress that enough. You are accountable for you. When I train anyone, I hold them accountable. I can only do so much in 1 hour. The rest is up to you, right? If you aren't seeing the results you want, ask yourself what part you have to play in this. Are you doing everything you need to be doing to reach said goals? Write everything down. Have a journal. Be honest with yourself. I am. Yes, I love the trader Joe's vegan marshmallows. Like LOVE THEM. It's a problem, but I know that. I also know that if I eat a bagel, I better run a few miles to burn that baby off. Be aware of what you're putting into your body, how much rest you're getting, how you're working out, and importantly stretching.
