D A Y 2 _ Our anatomy class today was so fascinating! Learning how the mechanics of the body work cohesively. What fascinated me even more was looking deeper at our core muscles, and that we actually have one that connects our diaphragm and adrenals to our hip flexors. It's also known as the "fight or flight muscle". In modern day we over stimulate stress hormones by doing things like working long hours at a stressful job, drinking coffee etc.. and for most people they are sitting at a desk all day while getting more and more stressed.. such a problem in today's society! By doing things like a simple back bend over a bolster and opening into butterfly this allows for both the hip flexors and are flight or flight muscle to relieve all that built up tension
Clay's lymphoma update: it's been 18 days since Clay was diagnosed and put on his detox therapy. Clay spends most of his days sleeping and meditating using miracle tone and aromatherapy. I continue to do reiki, massaging and the entire family gives him tons of love. He is still mobile but can only make couple trips to his garden. You can see his spine, ribs and hop bones. He is very skinny now but part of the "remodeling" process hopefully. He does not show pain and we monitor that. He can breathe fine and his lymph nodes seem to be getting smaller. I did discover two more however. His spirit seems to be ok but you can tell how tired he is. I'm very tired too but we continue the fight. Stop and smell the #roses 💐For me, roses are an integral part of life and one of the clearest indicators of the Divine. They are a perfect metaphor from Spirit for the emotional and physical trials of life and the necessity of boundaries (why else would a rose have thorns!) It also suggests the resilience we have to let our beauty shine and to express our soul's individuality. Like every rose has a unique scent but all remain one, so do our souls have a unique character all of their own. Furthermore, the scent of rose in an essential oil, in a perfume, in a spray, in the petals is one of the most spiritually rejuvenating because of its high vibrational frequency. Try it and see if roses make a difference in how you feel. Or just gaze at how pretty they are! That's healing too ☺️

On another note. Why eat well yourself, then feed your kids junk? Where is the logic. No judgement. Yet inform yourself on what is on your plate. It could actually improve more then you can imagine.
My parents #workshop sold out quick. Teamed with professionals. Why? I always have additional professionals on hand incase my clients require in depth advice. That time around #nutritionist . Lots of people tell me they find my advice more effective and not doubt my own knowledge. After all have helped myself!

The most beautiful moment of my week came when this matriarch and I shared tears over a meaningful conversation.
She showed up to the community center with her family every day this week to learn how to better feed herself and her family. At one point, she came to me and said, "You know, I've had a lot of health scares, I have diabetes, been in and out of the hospital many times this year when I stopped breathing. I know I've got to eat better. Fruits and vegetables are my medicine now. I am so thankful that you guys are here. No one has ever taken the time to teach me, and It's time for me to learn. Thank you." She continued, "I'm gonna keep comin' and learning as much as I can." We went on to discuss how a mother sacrifices for her children, the struggle to get enough food on the table to feed her large family, and the many challenges she faces.
We all have opportunities to make an impact. It's the little things like this that remind me to keep going. Some days are hard, but they get better when you can remember to breathe, to exhale gratitude. Find the opportunities in every moment to make life a little better for someone else.
