Raw Food adalah makanan mentah atau makanan yg hanya melalui sedikit proses pengolahan. Misalnya dgn pemanasan dalam suhu & waktu yg singkat. Pemanasan dgn suhu tinggi & terlalu lama dihindari krn bisa merusak nutrisi penting dlm makanan.

Kenapa dikatakan baik?
• Proses pengolahan sebentar dgn waktu singkat shg nutrisi di dalamnya masih utuh & tersimpan baik

Bok Choy...thee perfect side dish. 🌿👌🏻. Eating it daily since living Asia - always with different toppings. Water sauté garlic, then turn the heat up high and add the bok choy and stir quickly (with chopsticks works best), until slightly wilted but still green and fresh 🥢🥣. Mix some lime juice and syrup and drizzle over top. Sprinkle sesame seeds. Mmmm hmmm.

🍌 DESSERT ALERT 🍫
Here’s a super quick, healthy and very affordable vegan treat you can try out for those moments you want a small sweet snack. Chocolate is in fact GOOD for you! It’s the artificial sugar we gotta cut.

INGREDIENTS ✨
▫️1/2 organic chocolate bar (I used @greenandblacks)
▫️2 tbsp olive or coconut oil suitable for frying
▫️2 tbsp raw organic cocoa powder 
fruit of choice 
STEPS✨
1. Bring heat to medium and add in oil 
2. Break apart the chocolate and slice fruit 
3. Once the oil is warm, reduce heat and add chocolate
4. Once the chocolate is melted, add in cocoa powder
5. Stir it together into a smooth (or lumpy) mixture
6. reduce heat, and add the chelate to a serrate bowl
7. Cover chopped fruit in chocolate and set on flat plate or cooling rack
8. Put in freezer for 1 hour or until hardened
9. ENJOY

In the last week I have picked around 6kg of tomatoes and i can't wait to begin cooking and preserving them in different ways. Already I have made pasta sauce from the @homegrownkitchen cookbook to keep in my stores for over the winter. Next on the list is the @jshealth tomato and capsicum soup and some tomato relish. 
Any other ideas for what to do with all of my tomatoes?

1. Son ricos en licopeno, un pigmento vegetal natural del grupo de los carotenoides, con propiedades antioxidantes, que según demuestran varios estudios científicos recientes protege a las células del estrés oxidativo y previene el cáncer de próstata. 
2. Las personas con anemia pueden beneficiarse considerablemente del consumo de pimientos rojos, según un trabajo que publicaba The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. Gracias a su alto contenido en vitamina C, esta verdura favorece la absorción del hierro de los alimentos en el tubo digestivo. 
3. Los pimientos rojos contienen vitamina B6 y magnesio. Y esta combinación reduce la ansiedad y el insomnio. Además, la vitamina B6 es un diurético natural, por lo que incluir este alimento en la dieta contribuye a evitar la hipertensión.

4. Por su contenido en betacarotenos, capsantina, quercitina y luteolina, los pimientos rojos previenen el colesterol "malo", tal y como revelaba un estudio dado a conocer en Journal of Food Science.

Winter is a great time for home-made breads. Commercial breads can contain 10-30 ingredients, many of which I can barely pronounce. When buying bread choose a sprouted bread, which is easier to digest. Silver Hills & Ezekiel are great quality breads. This multigrain loaf is ready for the oven & packed with nutrients.

Recipe: 
350 grams, warm, filtered water or (1 1/2 cup)
2 tsp. High quality yeast
1 tsp. Organic honey
1 Tbs. Organic coconut oil
Mix well. 
Add 500 grams or(3 3/4 cup) of organic bread flour. 3/4 cup of which is multigrain.
2 tsp. Himalayan salt
40 grams or (1/3 cup) mixed seeds. Here I used ground flax, chia, hemp, sunflower, pumpkin & wheat germ. 
Knead 10 minutes. I use a Thermomix for easy preparation & kneed for 2 Min. Place in oiled bowl, let rise under a light or in cold oven with light on, for one hour. Proof again in loaf pan (greased with coconut oil & flour). Bake at 400C for 20 Min, reduce to 375C, continue baking for 20-25 mins. Enjoy💕Happy sacred Sunday.

Here is a random pic of some paleo chili for an update: Recently I have discovered I have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). I found this out on a x-ray during my time with my chiropractor. There are many trigger foods that cause  constipation/stomach bloating (from IBS), so I decided to completely cut out the most common ones: dairy, gluten, some veggies (broccoli/cauliflower), soy, and legumes (besides peanuts) from my diet. After my 2 rounds of the  @whole30 I stayed away from these food groups for awhile; however, after a year or so I started incorporating whole sprouted grains, @siggisdairy yogurt, goat cheese, and other non-compliment foods back into my diet. For the sake of my health I must say goodbye to @foodforlifebaking breads, @siggisdairy , and other foods I’ve been enjoying and advocating for. Here is a random pic of some paleo chili for an update: Recently I have discovered I have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). I found this out on a x-ray during my time with my chiropractor. There are many trigger foods that cause constipation/stomach bloating (from IBS), so I decided to completely cut out the most common ones: dairy, gluten, some veggies (broccoli/cauliflower), soy, and legumes (besides peanuts) from my diet. SACRED TIP: Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Sugar-Free Buns. On theses winter days I’m really into baking bread & buns. These easy to make, little nut buns are a family favourite. The psyllium husk packs them with fibre, plus protein with the nuts & eggs make for a nutritious side bun. AIDS constipation & promotes weight loss. 
Recipe: 2 cups raw almonds, 2/3 cup psyllium husk, 3 tsp. Baking powder, 1 tsp. Himalayan salt, egg whites of 5 eggs, 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar, 1 & 3/4 cup boiled water. Preheat oven to 355F. Line baking trays with parchment paper. Grind almonds, add psyllium husk & mix. Add baking powder & salt, then mix. Add eggs & vinegar mix & kneed for 5 Min. Add boiling water & mix. Dough will be sticky but workable. Divide into bit-size balls.Place on baking trays, let rise 10 mins. Bake for 50 mins. Variations- add herbs or cinnamon. Also 1/3 c. Ground flax seed & 1/3 c. Gluten-free oats. I found egg whites make them light & fluffy. Enjoy💕.
