Let's talk fitness!! It is crucial to dedicate 30 min-90 min of your day doing some sort of physical activity. Eating a clean diet is important, however, it needs to be paired with fitness to give you physical results you can see!! Between work, school, and other daily activities I have loved doing @beachbody videos at home, lifting weights, or creating HIIT workouts to do. You don't need a gym or a program to workout!! All you need is a plan that fits your schedule and dedication to that plan.
Don't forget: ALWAYS fuel your body before/after every workout!! I usually eat breakfast, then drink a @vega_team protein shake (like the one pictured here). NOW GET MOVING!!👏🏻💪🏻🏋🏼♀️
Can you recommend a holistic treatment for bronchitis? I'm very anti-antibiotics. I'm putting eucalyptus essential oil on my chest and that's pretty much it. Which, is known to have anti-bacterial properties. I'm not too happy with that because bacteria is our friend. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated. Thank you! 🤒😷🤧
Coco Care 💆🏻
So let's just all agree that coconut oil is amazing, because it's just so stinkin versatile! Cooking, cleaning, skin care, hair care--it feels like you can use it for just about anything. But I want to share how I use it on my hair!
So my skin is oiler than you can believe and, as odd as it sounds, an oily scalp can actually cause dandruff. So while I've successfully oil trained, I'll never be able to go more than 5 days without washing my hair due to my oily skin. So on day 5 (the day before I wash my hair) I rub a mix of coconut oil and tea tree oil on my scalp and run it through my hair.
I do this because coconut oil and tea tree oil are both antibacterial. I also do this because coconut oil is insanely moisturizing, so I actually don't use conditioner! I leave this mix in ideally 24 hours (or as long as I can) and when I shower I just shampoo! And even without conditioner my hair is so soft and silky from the coconut oil! The only downside is wearing my oily hair in a bun that looks like its been coated in hair gel 😂
So if you're looking for a natural conditioner method or wanting to help with dandruff or any hair issues, check into coconut oil masks! Do any of you like to put coconut oil in your hair?

You’ll surely be impressed with the nutritional bounty that zucchini offers. It’s low-calorie (with only 17 calories per 100 grams) and high in fiber, and has no cholesterol or unhealthy fats. It’s also rich in flavonoid antioxidants such as zeaxanthin, carotenes, and lutein, which play a significant role in slowing down aging and preventing diseases with their free radical-zapping properties.
Most of the antioxidants and fiber are in its skin, though, so it’s best to keep the skin when serving this food.
Zucchini is also a wonderful source of potassium, a heart-friendly nutrient that helps moderate your blood pressure levels and counters the effects of too much sodium. In fact, a zucchini has more potassium than a banana.
Zucchini is rich in B-complex vitamins, folate, B6, B1, B2, B3, and choline, as well as minerals like zinc and magnesium, which are all valuable in ensuring healthy blood sugar regulation – a definite advantage for diabetics. It also contains essential minerals such as iron, manganese, and phosphorus.
Another day, another smoothie 💜 Today's smoothie concoction is made up of frozen blackberries (hand picked by me from the woods 🙋🏼), blueberries, banana, spinach, chia seeds, almond butter, @sunwarriortribe natural protein powder and coconut water ✨My mum and I were walking our little dog Lexie in the woods on the weekend and came across all of the wild blackberries and thought it would be a great idea to pick and take them home to freeze them. They are completely wild and of course that means no nasty pesticides sprayed on them so they are completely organic 🌿 Also, there is something very grounding about picking the foods that we eat 🌳 If you are on a walk in the country this weekend, have a look for some wild blackberries as they are in season and here, there and everywhere! 🌳✨🌷🌿🙏🏼💜
I'm pretty happy with my handy work here 🙋♀️. Everyone devoured our new @rootsandnuts Super Hotcakes. I'm like a proud mum!

Matcha daydreams ✨
So I've been drinking matcha for about two months now (I like @midorispring) and I've only had coffee once in the past two months. I had coffee yesterday and it sent my anxiety spiraling! I was amazed at how jittery and anxious I felt, it was not a good time. So as much as I stink in LOVE coffee, I know I'm going to have to reserve it for special occasions.
I say all this to encourage you to listen to what your body is telling you. It may mean you have to give up habits, but do what's best for your body!
Also, hot drinks are one of my favorite things to put collagen peptides in, so don't forget I have a coupon code for @furtherfood: HAN10.
When it comes to nutrition, avocados are in a class by themselves because of the unusually large number of benefits they offer - more than 20, last count. Loaded with fiber, one avocado contains 36% of the daily requirement of vitamin K, 30% of the folate, and 20% each of the daily requirements of pantothenic acid (vitamin B5, needed to break down carbohydrates), vitamin B6, vitamin C and potassium - more than twice the potassium of a banana. Vitamin E, niacin, and riboflavin levels deserve honourable mention. Eaten with other foods, your body is better able to absorb the nutrients, such as alpha- and beta-carotene and lutein
Avocado is one of the few fruits that will provide you with "good" fats. That means it can help keep your cholesterol levels already in the healthy range and help lower your risk for heart disease
One study was undertaken to see if avocados might have more lipids than other fruits and vegetables, which, while rich in carotenoids are lipid challenged, impeding nutrient absorption. Researchers found that adding avocados to salad and salsa (foods used in the study) can significantly enhance your body's ability to take up the benefits of carotenoids, due primarily to the lipids in the avocados. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15735074
The yellow-green colour of avocados prompted another study, since colour in other plant-based foods indicates carotenoid and other "bioactive" action, indicating possible cancer-fighting properties. The premise was that the monounsaturated fat in avocados might help your body absorb important bioactive carotenoids in combination with other fruits and vegetables, and therefore significantly reduce your risk of cancer https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15629237
Such a delicious combination for breakfast - @nushfoods cashew yoghurt and @primroseskitchen cacao & courgette granola with blueberries and pumpkin seeds 🙏🏼💜 Pumpkin seeds are a good source of protein. Sometimes there is the misconception that they only source of protein is via animal produce like eggs, fish or chicken...however the power of plants is incredible and pumpkin seeds are a wonderful plant-based source for protein 🌿 Along with hemp, lentils, beans, quinoa, etc...Therefore if you are ever looking for a plant-based source of protein, a handful of pumpkin seeds will do the trick in your breakfast 🌿🙏🏼✨💜 #PlantPower

My favourite way to start the day is with a smoothie - especially a tropical one 💛 For those of you that are on the go in the mornings, a smoothie is quickest, easiest and healthiest way to have breakfast before you head off to work 🙏🏼 My smoothie is full of vitamin C with all of the fruit I used to boost my immune system 🍍 Ingredients; frozen banana, pineapple, mango, flaxseeds, desiccated coconut and coconut water 💛💛💛
