Silver linings of Lyme: I've changed and I've grown...and as a result, I've become more patient. I can go with the flow. And I've tuned into my free spirited + nomadic nature. I can pack my car and hit the road. My illness doesn't tie me down now (ok maybe sometimes), and I work from my computer and car trunk (for now). My medications travel with me. I'm feeling well *enough* to make long drives. It doesn't come without consequence, no. I always get a spike in fever and pain when I push my body... but I've decided to start doing - not always a lot, but a little almost every day. Sometimes "doing" means different things... but I'll tell ya, it definitely means living. And that's enough for me right now. #morethanlyme#lymedontkillmyvibe

Found and tried the cactus pear (also known as prickly pear) for the first time today! The prickly pear is an edible cactus plant and a member of the cactus family! The plant has both leaves and spines that are sharp, while the colorful flowers develop into prickly pear fruits. The whole plant from the flowers and fruits to the stems and the leaves, are edible. Prickly pear contains antiviral, anti-inflammatory properties, is high in fiber, and rich in antioxidants. In modern holistic medicine, it's useful in helping treat type 2 diabetes and high cholesterol levels. The texture is similar to a kiwi, but with pits and tastes like a kiwi mixed with watermelon. Contrary to popular belief the hole in the middle of the orifice reducer (the clear plastic thing on top of the oil bottle) is not where the oil comes out from! That is an air vent.
The tiny hole on the upper right is the hole where the oil is released. ✨

I did a beautiful grounding meditation the other day while I was at the Pink Lakes in the Murray Sunset Country.
I felt a deep connection to the earth there and a strong, ancient energy - like Mother Earth had energy to give me, something to tell me and share with me.
This meditation was perfect and took me on a journey to send my roots deep and wide. I felt calm, grounded, centered and connected after.
Grounding meditations are good when you feel yourself getting off centre, Living too much in your head and can't concentrate or focus.

Had a really great afternoon on Long Island! We went to Jones Beach and a Robert Moses and met up with a great friend 😊 We all had a blast!
This is a huge part of the reason we have decided on our new adventure. ~More family time 💕 Between my hard working hubbys new job and me being able to make my own hours we are able to create more memories like this. I have no idea where the future will lead us but I am trusting in God and feeling very blessed.

In that before photo, I hated my body and treated it like crap. I would wake up everyday, run 7-8 miles and try to starve my body of food as much as I could throughout the day. Tuesday Tip: Exfoliation is the first step to reversing sun damage. You can exfoliate mechanically by scrubbing or chemically by using fruit acids and enzymes (like papain found in papaya).

#transformationtuesday My Tuesday shout out goes to my 95 year old client Billy The Kid. Bill is a WW2 vet, a fisherman, a farmer, and as amazing as a human being can get. He drives himself to the gym 2 to 3 days a week, eats salmon like every single day and gives me stock tips. At 95 years old he still experiences improvement, mainly in his mobility, which allows him to keep moving and working out. If your not using it, your losing it.
