Earlier today a random hail storm came through San Diego. It just started right out of a beautiful sunny sky. It reminded me of the time my husband and I visited Bryce Canyon and a similar thing happened. We had just gotten out of our car on our first trip to Bryce and hail began raining down from the sky. For a minute I just stood in it, thinking how lucky I was to see this phenomenon. We raced to the rim and spent the day looking at the hoodoos in the storm. The sky went back and worth between sunny and dark and the hail began to look like snow on the ground. It’s still one of my best memories of all time.
