@urwerkgeneve UR-105 TA . "Raging Gold"
Urwerk always left me pretty skeptical... A watch without real dial, and hands... But after looking me at her, has studied the mechanism and taken the time to watch the desgin, I've worn one on my wrist... The Waltz of the satellite my enchanted! The proportions of the box are acceptable, perfect readability. The "Guilloche" box is armonise very well with its form and gives it a more massive appearance.
In the end, the DNA Urwerk has has conquered me! Long live Satellites!
4 satellites in forged-aluminium , for the indication of the hours (3 hours indicated on each), mounted on a rotating carousel.
The sliding and rotating of the satellites give reading of the minutes .
The two turbines visible on the back are coupled to the rotor to regulate the winding system of the watch. These micro-rotors satin-finished and treated with black PVD.
On the back of the case , the winding mode is adjusted via the small lever above the turbines. 3 position : "FULL" , only the slightest movement is needed to wind up the mainspring ; "RED" , moderates the winding so as to minimize excessive tension on the mainspring ; and "STOP" mode, the winding system is disabled , but she can be hand-wound if necessary by the crown.
