Not a horrible #deadlift day. Did some conventional 1xAMRAP @ 395lbs. Hit 8, though I felt like I had one or two more in me afterwards. Then hit straight leg for a burnout set of 13 @ 205lbs, and dimel deadlifts 3x6 @ 315lbs. I had a bunch of other accessory work, including rows, pulldowns, calf extensions, etc. I'm pretty proud that I'm back to rowing 225lbs again.

A few changes coming into the workouts, that being more rear delt and back workouts. And working more chest, I’ve seemed to have gotten so obsessed with my legs that I forget to work upper body at times. Everything’s starting to even out on my traps and biceps. In my line of work outside the gym I sometimes use one arm more than the other which makes one look like a Popeye arm and the other more leaner 🤣 but with some big changes everything is start to get better, I am definitely getting stronger. Today I got into some 1 UP preworkout and damn it helped a lot getting through my chest, shoulder, and back workout. Especially since it was damn near two hours! Well it’s time to grub so these motherfuckers can grow into weight beaters! Y’all have a fantastic weekend! Not a horrible workout. I feel much better than I did last week. Intensity wasn't what it usually is, I think because I did another calorie cut. I was feeling a bit tired.
Military press - 4x5 @ 155lbs
Floor Press - 4 rep max @ 305lbs
JM Press - 5x12 @ whatever the Smith machine bar weighs + 90lbs
And a bunch of other accessory work

Still working through issues with my squat form. I haven't mastered instinctively knowing when I get to depth. Got some great coaching from my fellow gym rats at @elitegymnyc. You can see a big improvement between my form in the first and second video.

The foam roller is a great tool, but it is underutilized for posture correction. Another point I have to make is that it is great to take a moment to yourself like this to make sure you’re in check. Shitty bench workout. Had 3x5 @ 305lbs programmed for today. 305lbs felt light, so I jumped to 315lbs after my first set. Finished with a burnout set of 25 @ 155lbs. The weight moved well, but I'm not too happy with my form. Also didn't get a good pump out of it. Conventional bench just doesn't do it for me anymore.
