🔑📒A prophetic word will never contradict the written Word of the Lord.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made" (John 1:1-3) 📖👊 #JointheGuild#SchooloftheProphets (link in bio)
Not everyone can go family included. Your relationship with Him is beyond understanding once you have it. Don't ever force anything on anyone just allow others to see how amazing he's been and being in your life. They have to make the choice themselves.
Don't want something and not be willing to work for it... then your probably doing it to impress someone else and it's not a true desire of yours... You work Hard for what you truely desire. Just like prayer without works is dead a dream without works is dead !
I think of you. I think about what a price you'd paid to redeem me. I think of how you took a beating for me. I think and remember how you forgave me when you were pierced for my transgression. I think of you because you've made an impact in my life and I will never be the same, for that I am eternity grateful. I think of you because you never once forsook me. I think of you because of your beauty that is display daily in my life. i think of you because you made me this way.
"Behold the Man upon a cross, My sin upon His shoulders Ashamed I hear my mocking voice, Call out among the scoffers It was my sin that held Him there Until it was accomplished His dying breath has brought me life I know that it is finished. I will not boast in anything No gifts, no power, no wisdom But I will boast in Jesus Christ His death and resurrection Why should I gain from His reward? I cannot give an answer But this I know with all my heart His wounds have paid my ransom."—How Deep The Father's Love For Us Please join us tomorrow night from 5:30-7:00 at Hainerberg Chapel for WNA. Everything we do is about Jesus. We do not simply eat dinner. We have a time of fellowship with each other enjoying food that God has blessed us with. We don't simply sing some songs. We worship the beautiful name of our Saviour who is so far above us yet He has a love for us that has no equal. And we don't hear a self-help message, but we have wonderful volunteers and chaplains and teachers who pour out their time and energy into preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. #InChristAlone#HowHeLovesUs
The Brick Throwers | Photograph by Sutapa Roy
Women in India toss baskets of dirt as they make bricks. Your Shot photographer Sutapa Roy observed that making bricks, a longtime construction material in India, is often the work of women, many exploited as a result of poverty and desperation.
School Life | Photograph by Antonio Leong
“Far away from the nearest modernized city in Qinghai, I traveled with Oxfam for about 10 hours to visit the Tibetan students staying in this boarding school,” writes Your Shot photographer Antonio Leong. “Instead of rushing back to their room after lunch to play with their smartphone or tablet, these kids are finding a suitable place in this small room packed with eight students so they can take out their books and start studying.” #InternationalWomensDay

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father..." James 1:17. "Give thanks to the Lord , for he is good; his love endures forever" Psalm 107:1.
There are times when it seems as if God is so far away; distant or even disconnected from us, our everyday lives and daily goings on. It becomes easy to dwell on the negatives or on what we don't have. It becomes easy to disregard Him and to try and take control back into our own hands.
But how often do we take a good look around us at all the good things He has already blessed us with? How often are we truly thankful? A hot cup of tea on a cold night. Books to read and get lost in. A comfy bed to sleep in. Good catchups with dear friends. A job that earns us money. The sound of pouring rain on the roof. Ears to hear soul-stirring music and the voices of our loved ones. Eyes to see the beauty of nature... The list could go on and on, and is unique for each of us.
When God feels far away, just stop and see all that He has lovingly given you and continues to give. And then give thanks! Closeness with Him begins with an open and grateful heart. ❤
A Country Doctor | Photograph by Ioana Moldovan (@ioanacmoldovan)
“Dr. Floarea Ciupitu, 61, has been a family doctor in Gangiova for the past three decades,” writes Your Shot photographer Ioana Moldovan. “In Romania, doctors in rural areas are outnumbered by their peers in cities two to one. The health care sector is overrun with crisis and neverending problems. Dr. Ciupitu is living proof that, despite all the difficulties and problems in the flawed system, there are still doctors who commit to their patients. She stands to help remember that being a doctor is a calling” #InternationalWomensDay

Martin: “Where do you live?”
Rodney: “I’ve been living in my truck for four years. I decided to keep money in my pocket instead of paying rent downtown. I found out about this place [the food line @GWHFC]. So I threw away some pride. I have money, I come here and eat food."
M: [Noticing some scars] “You’ve been shot?”
R: “Oh yeah, yeah. I had nine surgeries. They shot me and run me over. I got shot here and this one, the third shot I ducked. I watched the car run over my leg. I was already shot in my Achilles Tendon. I couldn’t feel it. I don’t know if it was mistaken identity. I don’t hang out with them. Maybe I was just a new face downtown. Everybody knows everybody’s face, you gotta fit in. I had to tell so many dudes, ‘Hey man, when you see me, don’t hit me up with a proposition. I’m not sellin’ and I’m not buyin’. I don’t do drugs. I don’t drink. I don’t smoke cigarettes. I’m just down here to eat.' They gang-banging out here, that’s what they doin’."
M: “You never got into it?”
R: “No, no. I had family that I watched get into it. Why do I want to go out and prove to a bunch of suckers what I’m gonna do for them? I’m doin’ stuff for me and my kids. I don’t have nothin’ to prove to other Black men or any other race. And that’s the problem with Blacks, they think they have something to prove. I choose to be homeless, I sleep in my truck goin’ on four years. I got three IRA accounts. One for myself. I got two kids. I got a bank account. I got money in it. I threw my pride away long time ago. Pride is something that nobody needs. Pride is only needed at a certain time."
M: "Do you still talk to the mother of your kids?"
R: “No she took them kids and left me. I found out the oldest kid wasn’t mine. I don’t know, I guess she was using me.”
M: “Where is she now?”
R: “Living with her mother and with the kids.”
M: “Do you see your kids sometimes?”
R: “I go to their school and see ’em every Friday and I take ’em to the movies every Wednesday. I been there since day one. That’s the only reason I’m still in Los Angeles, ‘cause I’m waiting 'till they get old enough.” For more portraits and stories, follow @martinschoeller
Reading this caption on the top left box literally SICKENS me 😷 mommas- why do we think so little of ourselves? We are ROCKSTARS.. we were given the gift to carry human life inside of us, we run the household, we are #bossbabes , we are strong, we are worthy, we are BEAUTIFUL. I too used to think so little of myself as well, I used to take pride in putting myself/my body/ my looks and my desires on the back burner, but that isn't me anymore. I am SO stoked to have linked arms with an amazing group of people who are like-minded. I have lost my baby weight, I have a ridiculous amount of sustained energy, but more importantly I realize that encouraging and motivating others is part of how God wired me and I love using that gift every single day ❤️ #fueledbyisagenix#workhard#noexcuses#momonamission#fitmom#militarywife#howhelovesus#daughteroftheking#lululemon#fuelyourbody#womenempoweringwomen#getafterit
Kitting Around | Photograph by Vladislav Kamenski (@vkamenski)
What kid—or kit—wouldn’t like to play in the rain? After months of trying, Your Shot photographer Vladislav Kamenski caught this little fox frolicking in a park in Montreal, Canada, early one rainy morning. “It took me approximately three months to create this shot,” Kamenski writes. “Sometimes the rain was too strong or too weak, and sometimes the foxes weren’t there or [in] the wrong spot. But finally my patience paid off, and one day everything came perfectly together.” Double tap if you're excited that your sins are blotted out
