I'm never going to make it to work at this rate, but this is an an amazing #ship . Can anyone ID it? I think it's a polar ice breaker but the forecast is for hot and humid so maybe not. #hudsonriver#nyc#bike#morningcommute
An early morning pet sit takes me to this beautiful spot. I can hear the train whistle blow while viewing the lifting of the fog off the river and the Catskill Mountains in the distance. A great way to start the day and this busy week. I hope you all find beauty in something today and fill your heart with love not hate. teamfitnessunleashed.com #columbiacounty#petcare#dutchesscounty#hudsonriver#catskillmountains#trainwhistle
To the right of this epic stairway was an Italian terraced garden, destroyed to make way for a hospital. I have to ask, no other land was available in Yonkers that you had to destroy a magnificent garden? This leads to the question of what we preserve and what we destroy in our society. Trump is currently trying to destroy 27 national monuments. 27! From the Mariana Trench to the Giant Sequoia. Yet he doesn't want to touch confederate statues of any kind. He professes to be the most Christian man ever, so why choose the work of white supremecists over that of his God? My question for removing or replacing monuments is, can it be replaced easily, and are we replacing it with something better? With nature the answer is generally no. With confederate statues that were all recently built and symbolize a past we fought to end, replace away.
