“Mic Test” | #CAlexanderT | INSTRUMENTAL: “Telephone” (#ASAP y #Tyler ) | C.A. Taylor Photography | This is what happens when a friend gives me a mic.. blame him. | FOR THE HEARING IMPAIRED (& bad pronunciation): “Making bad decisions like I’m making money, but I’m still looking lovely so the only ones above me are my family, even though sometimes they can’t understand me- my blood bans me from being less, I have to fight my stress to show I’m blessed, so I digress like this is my best, if it was it would impress and do more than test what I press to nest a chest of words like they’re undeserved, although shared, I’m partially impaired and scared to be alone, money is my home like it has blood and bone to fix my tone and help condone my throne with wisdom shown, grown from more than phoned intentions, sent through dimensions of expression to make a recorded lesson of clear impressions, fuck discretion, I got mad obsessions, this is a blessing written down, found on shaky-ground called my grind, likely doesn’t intertwine with what you find fine since the swag isn’t mine, which is a crime, but I don’t care, this is rare, so all is fair, at least to me like I’m “ASAP C”, sike nah, CAlexanderT03..” | ..the mic is ok
I love paint! I love dragging it across paper, canvas, wood, anything really. My paintings teach me so much about grit, grace, and gratitude. Each lesson is well timed. That’s the beauty of abstract art. If you sit with it, it will show you you. 💛
I just added all 32 of my latest batch of color studies to the shop. I share my current fav in my IG stories. Please tell me yours! #linkinprofiletoshop

Realised whilst doing this piece that painting clothing is a literal nightmare 😂 it's something I never seem to focus on so now I'm trying to challenge myself and improve a bit more on those elements. Doing a little lace thing on this piece and it's really teaching me the importance of patience in painting. It's not a case of doing it all at once but for me, I need to keep adding little details day by day until eventually I get a pieces of detail I'm happy with. Touching up with a balance of skin tones and white lace with teeny tiny brushes 👩🎨
My inner voice goes like this today:
A: why are you even trying to paint abstract with acrylics??? You can't do this!
B: I know I can't, that's why I'm trying!
A: But why acrylics??? Better do it with watercolors - it's easier, more enjoyable and the results are better.
B: I know the results are NOW better but at the beginnig painting with watercolors wasn't easy for me either. I had to grow in it. Anyway, I had promised to do this challange with acrylics.
A: You haven't even stated it here, on IG, you can change your mind 😎
B: But I have promised to myself. If I won't try I'll feel a loser 😳 I need time to grow and I need to paint in order to grow. No short way 😓
Oh boy, today painting session wasn't easy! It's so difficult to put on paper with a new medium what you have in mind... I hope I'll make it through whole #21daysofbrave challenge and won't give up, wish me luck! .

This series will be ongoing of course, but as I wind down my studio time and get ready for exhibitions, travel and a residency I look back at this year and the amazing connections I made through my art. My sincerest and warmest thank you to everyone who supports what I do my commenting, sending sweet messages + pictures, and purchasing my art. Muah! I love you! Check me out. I finished inktober XD
I watched Netfilx's Castelvania and am smitten with Trevor Belmont, decided to try to draw him in a more "human" fashion. I also wanted to get rid of the absurd logic and physics defying anime hair.
I started the drawing from my head, but then to develop and finish it, i looked up the guy that voices him and used a top lit pic of myself that i took.
Richard Armitage voices the character and my drawing looks nothing like him, except maybe for the bridge of the nose.
Drew with a bic ballpoint pen on paper. I enjoy my drawing a lot, he's a ridic handsome guy 10/10 would make out with him 👍
📣 NEW WORK ALERT! 📣 The shop is now filled with a small forest's worth of pots- Let's see how many trees we can plant before the end of the year! ....

Last day on the island 🌴 I’m going to miss this magical place.
Appreciate the time I had here with my husband of 20 years -celebrating our anniversary. We soaked up a lot of beautiful views and had a blast spending time together and relaxing.
I have to say: it is so nice that he supports my art and let’s me paint everywhere we go! A real sweetheart💜
Thank you -for your comments, cheers, and allowing me to share this journey with you.
Today is my last day here to soak up all its gorgeous-ness! I am leaving here so thankful and my mind is full of treasured memories. "the Garden Isle" Kauai is full of subjects to paint....even chickens! Thank you for being here with me on my art journey😘🌸🌴🍍
