That moment when you bag your first bird. Veteran Tom Rugg was given the opportunity to hunt our new property in the Butte Sink, Butte Creek Island Ranch, as part of our Veterans Hunt Program. That day, he shot his first bird ever! We're extremely proud that our program can give amazing hunt opportunities to those who have served our country.
And there are still hunts available! Veterans can contact Hunt Program Coordinator Jeff Smith at 503-305-9234 for more information.
The climb and fall for the ibex trophies, Last year. The glacier line you can see at the left-side downhill blocked the Indus river and caused a major flooding in 1905 killing hundreds. You can literally see the colliding glacier avalanche hitting the mountains at the other side of the river leaving massive scratches that are vividly visible to the naked eye. The volatile glaciers of #kurumbervalley#ghizer are still cracking from beneath and the scary sounds it make are easily heard. History will again doom us to repeat the same doom as the global warming has already struck its first blow on our beautiful homeland and the recent flooding is a proof to it. #history#volatiteregions#gilgitbaltistan#throwbackstory#huntinglife#huntstories
