Self-hypnosis (also known as autohypnosis) is a much bigger thing than many first assume.
While it can mean different things (which I’ll be discussing later), one is the idea that we ‘self-hypnotise’ all the time through the self-talk we do on a daily basis.
The way we talk to ourselves, sometimes out loud but normally in our own heads, has a huge impact on confidence, self-esteem and the way we feel. Telling yourself that you can’t do something will have a significant impact on your performance.
The good news is that you can use this to your advantage by changing what you say to yourself.
What is your self-talk doing to you?
