PLOT TWIST Course four from @1ounceor2 and @chefjohannahellrigl The guys used @flyingdogbrewery beer and @donciccioefigli spirits to create five outstanding cocktails that paired with five tasty dishes prepared by Chef for the second installment of their cocktail club. Course four allowed you to choose your own adventure!! Two cocktails (Dora the Explorer and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider). Both using Flying Dog Doggie Style Pale Ale, recycled lime cordial, @shrubdistrict ginger shrub and falernum. You choose whether you want to add bourbon or epazote-infused @rujerosingani for a cocktail that will delight you from the first sip to the last. Chef whipped up a killer sous vide crispy drumstick with green polenta and just reminiscing about this course makes me want another order right now! It’s also inspired me to try more cocktails with singani! Course three from @1ounceor2 and @chefjohannahellrigl The guys used @flyingdogbrewery beer and @donciccioefigli spirits to create five outstanding cocktails that paired with five tasty dishes prepared by Chef for the second installment of their cocktail club. In a perfect world, I would lay on this chestnut and rye bread raft and swim in this fennel, orange & sambuca soup it was just that good. Paired with the Red Line to Brookland: rye whiskey featuring a Flying Dog Bloodline IPA reduction, dry and blanc vermouth, Don Ciccio Luna Amara and Don Ciccio Nocino. There is such a delicate balance of orange between food and drink and I just wanted to hit repeat on this course this winter! Guess that whole 🦄 trend is still hanging around- but I'm not mad. Look 👀 at this magical dessert from @taiyakinyc at @1800lucky. Had so much fun doing "research" at this Asian food hall with my always hungry husband @davidcarltonrealty. It was all really good, but I definitely had some faves like the unique bahn mi from @lesbanhamis with @sullivanstreetbakery bread! 💕 •

Collecting my Christmas Present. 8 courses with matching wines - he’s a keeper! Thank you husband ❤️ I didn’t want to eat this masterpiece at first. So beautifully presented. Turns out to be the most exciting dish I’ve ever eaten. Perfectly matched wines to every dish. A night to remember. Thank you @altair_restaurant #lovewhereyoulive
What would your portrait look like if you were surrounded by all the food you ate in one week? #youarewhatyoueat#iatethat#foodjournal#portraitphotography#shame#pride#Repost @time
Meet Anchal Sahni, a 10-year-old who lives in Chembur, Mumbai. Anchal has a healthier diet than many middle-class kids in India, who can afford to eat out. In Mumbai, a medium Domino’s pizza runs 13 bucks—about three times what Anchal’s father earns in a day. The foods neatly placed around her represent what she ate in a week. For the past two years, photographer @greggsegal has been making his way around the world, asking kids to keep a journal of everything they eat in a week. Once the week is up, he makes a portrait of the child with the food arranged around them. "I’m focusing on kids because eating habits, which form when we’re young, last a lifetime and often pave the way to chronic health problems like diabetes, heart disease and colon cancer," Segal says. The deeper goal of his project, Daily Bread, is to be a catalyst for change and link to a growing, grassroots community that is moving the needle on diet. Photograph by @greggsegal
