Maaaaan. Not good!! After a lot of hype in the media in the UK recently about using less plastic and we should all do our bit. Check out the pics i randomly took on the high water mark. For a half mile stretch was a huge amount of small pieces of plastic. Yes a few bigger bits, some of which we threw in a bin. But a large amount of tiny pieces/#microbeads#plastic#polution When you go to the beach-take it home!! 💙
Best part of this weekend is getting to sleep in but also making brunch plans with friends! Any amazing gluten-free food bloggers that you know and could recommend? Help me out brcause I'm in need of yummy food inspiration!
which is your favourite side of Boscastle Harbour to walk along: for me, definitely the side pictured here on the left (technically the north-eastern-ish side, I suppose 🧐) the high road leading to the cliffs with the perfect view of the mouth of the harbour and, looking back, the harbour village itself. Enough of the chilly wind and icy sleet for now, however, please 😼 | how’s everyone’s friday night? mine’s currently featuring gin, and a hot bubble bath 👌
The view of the Helford River 🌿 this is my absolute favourite place to walk! Only a 15-20 minute drive from Falmouth, it’s so worth heading down if you can. Walk from the mouth of the river all the way to the @theferryboathelford pub for lovely food and drink. You won’t regret it!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my takeover today, and make sure to watch the Stories in full! See you soon in Cornwall 😊 @oliviabossert
East pool mine merged with Wheal Agar in 1894, ( ISH - I'm crap with dates), and became East Pool&Agar Limited. Today the letters EPAL can be seen on the chimney.
Tin, copper and tungsten were mined and in the 1870's uranium was extracted. I bet that could be seen from many miles away!
