Free things to do in Athens?
There are many things to do in our city and especially around this time of year but a year round free suggestion is to visit the #nationalgardenathens
The formerly Royal Gardens is a public park of 15.5 hectares (38 acres) in the center of the Greek capital. It is located directly behind the Greek Parliament building (The Old Palace) and continues to the South to the area where the Zappeion is located, across from the Panathenaiko or Kalimarmaro Olympic Stadium of the 1896 Olympic Games.
The Royal Garden was commissioned by Queen Amalia in 1838 and completed by 1840. It was designed by the German agronomist Friedrich Schmidt who imported over 500 species of plants and a variety of animals including peacocks, ducks, and turtles.
insegnami tu come cadere
nelle notti che bruciano
a nascondere ogni mio passo sbagliato
e come sparire senza rumore
scivolare nel corso degli anni
e non pesare sul cuore degli altri ma
ma non è semplice
non sentire il silenzio che c’è
qui non è facile
guardare il cielo stanotte ❄⛄
