**URGENT** Calling on the Charlotte County Community! At the moment there is red tide in Charlotte Harbor. This has caused a great number of birds and water fowl, especially Lesser Scaups, to get sick and sadly, many have died. The majority of birds have been reported on Port Charlotte Beach at the end of Harbor Blvd and the beach off Bayshore, but also have come in to PRWC from other areas. Please keep an eye out and if you find a sick bird on the beach or in the water, please bring it in to us or call us on (941) 637-3830 so we can assist with the rescue and transport immediately. Red Tide causes a neurologic response, that untreated, is fatal in animals. The birds are becoming paralyzed and drowning due to the neurotoxin.
For more information on check out the FWC page on red tide.
Bucket list moment tonight: I flew a 737!!! 🛫😀 OK, obvs not a real 737, but a full-size simulator with an instructor by my side every step of the way... and it's a good thing he was there because holy cow, I don't think I've ever felt information overload like I just did!! I now have an even greater respect for pilots. You guys have so much on your shoulders when you're in those seats!

Deerfield Beach, Florida 🇺🇸 - December 2017. The company work dinner was at my go-to beach. When ever I want to experience the ocean, I usually come here. It has a lovely pier, and the sunset usually comes with lovely pink and blue sky.
