Babas are normally seen as distant, mystical figures that emanate wisdom and spiritual superiority, but when we caught this baba off-guard casually munching on a banana, half-smiling, we shared an instant where we felt our differences dissipate - perhaps we are more similar than we seem.
Amber at night is one of the most beautiful palace i have ever seen.
Exited the fort @6 and was sitting near the ticket counter as they lit up this astonishing fort from every corner.
I ran in the middle to admire the beauty of this palace which i had never seen before. Took out my camera and the tripod (FYI- tripods are not allowed there and it is not mentioned anywhere), and started clicking. Now not knowing that the tripod is not allowed i kept the stand in between and i dint realize there were 2 guards standing behind me screaming that u cant use this here, come to the office and delete all pics. Getting out of there was a very hectic and frustrating task.
But i kept the pics and decided never to use tripods in Jaipur.

The Ravanahatha is thought to be the oldest bowed string instrument. In medieval India the Ravanahatha was played for kings and royal families in Rajasthan and Gujarat. It is believed to have been later adopted and evolved by Arabs, brought to Southern Europe in the 8th century and eventually becoming what we know as the violin.
