It’s Thanksgiving!! What is everyone thankful for? My list is huge, so I’ll only share one 🙈 I’m grateful for sunsets! I’ve always loved them, but it wasn’t until I found myself all alone across the country that they started to have any meaning to me. I was working two jobs, 1500 miles away from everything and everyone I knew and loved (except for you Jess! @jbaker87 ), and sinking into depression. I wanted to give up and move back home. I cried as much to my mother on the phone one day and she challenged me to find one thing every day that made me happy. That very day had the most incredible sunset. The reds and golds and purples set over the cornfields so spectacularly that in that moment I knew that I’d be alright and that I couldn’t give up just yet and move back to Utah. Turns out, those years in Ohio were the best thing I could have done for myself. And ever since then, I’ve made it a priority to try to always catch the sunset 💕
Happy Thanksgiving!!! We just wanted to take a minute and thank you all for your kindness and support. We love what we do but we couldn’t do it without you so thank you! Now if you need us today, we will be somewhere near the food table 😉
I'm thankful for so much. Family. Great friends. Health. Honesty. A fulfilling job in one of the world's most beautiful places. The opportunity to explore these desert slots and caverns with excellent people. Wishing you happiness, contentment, and many adventures.
My last 24 hours have been a bit busy. Wake up at 6:30, work 7 till 4:30, wash the car, get home, go to the gym till 8:30ish, go home and shower, start 2nd job driving my route at 9, get home at 1:30 am, go to sleep for 1.5 hours, get up at 3 and go back to work. 6 hours left here then on to first dinner followed by second dinner. Maybe I'll get a nap in between. Anyways, here's a sunset from last night.
Happy Thanksgiving! Our Sunset location with be open 8am-Noon today thanks to our wonderful baristas volunteering! Drop in and let them know you're thankful for them, cause we sure are thankful for you!⠀
Happy Go for a Ride Day (November 22nd)
What would you rather ride for 10 hours? A bike or a horse?
I know that November 22nd is designated as a day to take your bike for a ride go for a long drive but why stop there? Take a ride on your boat or take a ride on an airplane or a rollercoaster! I've always been partial to trains myself. Either way you don't need an excuse to check out the world so just go out there and explore by any means of transportation you choose! Treat yo self!
Many of you may know that Escalante National Monument may be restructured. If this happens this beautiful arch may be no longer protected. Protection means that this location will never be over run by cattle, development or by those seeking mining rights. The skies will remain dark and the wilderness will remain wild. Speak up, speak out, do not let this happen without a fight.
Park City’s historic Main Street is lined with unique shops, gourmet restaurants, well-stocked galleries, and a bevy of whimsical touches, including the iconic Loosey the Moose. Needless to say, we whiled away several afternoons exploring the heart of this charming mountain town! @visitparkcity @pcski @visitutah #visitparkcity#publicart#moose
