Tucked away from all the otber eateries by several blocks, I still managed to discover this relatively new ramen joint. Seemed like they just opened for business as everything inside is renovated. Seats only 8 or 10 but where the place is located, it'll be hard for them to get lots of customers. That's why I hope to expose this to the rest of the world and hopefully encourage people to get out and try it.
Soup: The miso-based shrimp flavour infused soup is excellent. Both are not overpowering each other but rather enhances each other by eliciting your curiosity. It is surprisingly very oily and a large amount of chunky lard covers the surface. Not very salty though, so it won't dry your mouth even if you drink all of it.
Noodles: Each soup type is paired with their recommended noodle; thin & straight or curly and thick. I always choose the thick as it tastes better. Portion size isn't as big, though but you can choose to the portion size at extra cost.
Toppings: Bean sprouts, memma, shrimp bits and of course the 叉燒 are all made very nicely. The 叉燒 especially is very flavourful even though it is served cold. Egg is boiled to perfection.
Good place but it's well hidden which is a shame because it's hard to have a place that makes good shrimp ramen.
