Thank you so much @nilly_vanilli 🖤 for this wonderful day with @illamasqua history & philosophy. Human fundamentalism is not only words for me, because i'm absolutely believe that beauty is inside and we are the beauty! I'm so proud that today your gorgeous brand will be in Russia! #illamasqua#letoile#thanks
This Saturday we're playing host to an amazing beauty festival for a VERY good cause. ⠀
Running from 9.30am to 6pm, The Look Good Feel Better UK Beauty Festival will raise awareness and funds for the charity's services for women and teenagers struggling with the visible side effects from cancer treatment at Velindre Cancer Centre and University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.⠀
Some of the best beauty brands from St David's are supporting the event - Debenhams, Boots, M&S Beauty, The Perfume Shop, Crabtree & Evelyn, Kiehl’s, Buxom, Kat Von D, Too Faced, Makeup Forever, Pixi, Illamasqua, No.7, Clarins, and Bobbi Brown are just some of the names involved.⠀
Expect makeover masterclasses, mini-treatments, live demonstrations, beauty goodie bags, live music, face painting & festival glitter and much more. ⠀
We'll see you here. Please regram and spread the word!⠀
I really love this.
My eyes are small and hooded, I have a big bean shaped nose (thanks mum) and my lips are thinner than my patience for jehovah witness’ getting me out of bed for a chat.
But I couldn’t be happier. (Most of the time)
In my spare time I love researching make up on social media, getting different ideas for new make up looks and just enjoying seeing other artists work. It’s such an inspiring place but sometimes I can’t help but compare myself to these girls. These big eyed, big lipped and smooth skinned beauties.
On my bad days I feel really beaten down by these
unrealistic and impossible to achieve standards - and sometimes feel like...there is no escape! We are constantly surrounded by it no matter where you look.
Then come to my senses and snap out of it. I remind myself that I got into make up artistry through nothing other than sheer and utter passion and what matters more than anything, is that I’m producing the highest standard of work to the best of my ability and am continuously growing as an artist. Not how pretty I look in a picture.
We all need a little more faith in ourselves. We are honestly enough 💘
