"I am desperate for love.
I have been thirsting for lips that graze upon my skin as it burns my aching flesh of vanished hopes.
I have wandering for a soul to seek shelter on that warms my tattered feet and greets me with a soft hello
I have been seeking for eyes that conducts my heart to beat in the same rhythm as yours
I have whispering to the air in the hopes that one day you would turn your back and face my heaving chest, that your eyes will roam around my body and command my heart to beat in sonats that will play with yours, that your lips will thirst for my flesh, that your soul will warm the ground beneath my feet.
But one look at you, my prayers have turned against me
You have crossed my bed of roses thatfragments of your scathed flesh were left on the walls of my thorns
You have witnessed my flesh slip through and morph into a being that slid through the dark
You have seen the revolution of my sun and moon that not once have I looked upon the stars that you shone for me when my skies were dark nor breathed out in awe when you have painted my heaves in splash of colors
I am so desperate of love, that i have failed to love"

It’s all too easy to compare a work to the one right before it, and miss the opportunity to see the growth achieved over time. Appreciating this growth has helped me get to where I am now with my work. How do you measure and appreciate your growth?
