This is officially the last drawing I'll ever make for homework, so I thought I'd make it an homage to my time in college. I was gonna word vomit about my experience, but instead I'll sum things up in three points. 1: I have no regrets and I'd do it all over again if I had to. 2: I learned a lot more about myself than I ever did about art. & 3: All of the tedious and repetitive art homework (and what little freelance work I did) drove me to want to find a way to survive off of my own ideas and artworks more than ever. I don't know when or if I'll get there, but I'm looking forward to putting more time into studying art in the new year, and I'm hoping I can make some cool stuff going forward.
A little retro throwback. Any of you guys play with these growing up? #korymillerart
Hi everyone, Marie Browning with @mariebcreates here with my favorite new @tombowusa product introduced in 2017. It’s the new MONO Drawing Pencil Set and I will tell you why it’s my favorite! It comes with 12 grades of the MONO Drawing Pencils, a MONO Light Eraser, a pencil sharpener and information to get you started drawing. Tombow has been manufacturing pencils for over 100 years and are considered some of the best in the world!
The 12 different grades range from a soft 6B to a hard 4H. They give you constant uniformity for even shading. The graphite is extra smooth and free from any particles that can leave imperfections in your drawings.
Stay tuned for drawings showing different grades, strokes and techniques using The MONO Drawing Pencils! #tombow#tombowusa#tombow2017
DREAM Nr. 98: THE STRUGGLE
The heart wants what the heart wants, but the mind sometimes doesn't care about it. Or the body is too weak to follow through the want. And there you have it, a constant battle within, always being on the opposite side of our own self.
It's unhealthy, right? Not acknowledging the want. Ignoring it, trying hard, doing crazy stuff just to make it go away, when you know, deep down, that it never will.
What is there to do when it happens?
How do you deal with it?
