Dreamt of this day since May of 2013 and last night it happened. First Folk School was everything I had envisioned. Bringing women around the table to talk nutrition, health, and traditional ways of preparing and storing food. Thank you for the support ladies. And thanks to my rock star husband who can create a dingy garage into a dreamy workshop. Next class is tommorrow morning. Brunch style class discussing food labeling and simple swapouts to substitute for over processed grocery store foods. Register in link in profile or on the website.
Another planning commission meeting tonight, & I got to hear about a new concept called Agrihood. It idea is to have multi-family units, ag use, office space, & possibly restaurants.
Managing growth in Warwick Township is a big priority, & I am curious to hear what others think about this type of concept.
Part of the reason that I am running for office is to have a positive effect on how Warwick continues to grow & adapt for the sake of my own kids & even the generation after that. But growth & change needs to be evaluated from many different perspectives.
Reach out any time! I'm curious to hear your thoughts 😊 #initforthelongrun#voteforme#lititzpa#lititz#ilovelititz#voteformedini#warwick
We had a wonderful time at our church's picnic on Sunday! The weather was perfect, the kids had a blast, & even Father O'Blaney participated in the fun! We feel so lucky to be a part of such an incredible community of people 💗
This massive helicopter was one of the highlights of the #lancasterairshow 😊 I was surprised to see how much this event has grown since the last time we were there just a few years ago! I am excited to go through the hundred pictures I took & share some more favorites -- stay tuned 😉
Have you been hearing more about gut health or the newly used term microbiome? We are actually more microbial than cellular. The digestive process is beautifully created and it is one you need to be more conscious of as you choose the foods you feed your body. Weightloss should never be the end goal. It is the side effect of truly caring for your body. Hippocrates knew the truth hundreds of years ago, that all disease starts in the gut. Disease does not happen overnight. It is a slow fade by allowing high sugar, high processed foods, stress, medications, and toxic household and beauty products into our home and into our body. Here are just a few signs to look for if you think your digestion needs attention and care. • Throat and nose issues • Mood swings
• Inflammation anywhere in the body
• Skin disorders anywhere on the body
• Negative reactions to food
• Hormone imbalances

She considers a field and buys it; out of her own earnings she plants a vineyard. Proverbs 31:16
I am honored to lead an amazing group of women who are gate keepers of their home. Stay at home moms, single parents, teachers, and grandmothers, all trying to create a healthier home environment and provide for their family while seeing the needs around them and meeting them. We as women are more influential than we think. We are powerful beyond our belief. Live to your fullest potential and be the woman God created you to be.
