Let us whisk you to Sikkim this Monday 💙💙
This year we promised ourselves we’d explore more of India - and so we did! This roadtrip in Sikkim was all about gliding through quiet monastery towns, glittering glacial lakes, scenic drives on some of the worst roads we’ve encountered on our travels, and the cutest friendliest locals - THIS IS SIKKIM through our eyes. Hope you enjoy it 😊😍
What outfit doesn’t look better with a splash of animal print and colorful fur?? I linked a few adorable leopard booties and fun scarfs to get your holiday wardrobe looking extra snazzy 💃🏽 click my link in my bio to take a peek! http://liketk.it/2tONV #liketkit @liketoknow.it
“This is love: to fly toward a secret sky, to cause a hundred veils to fall each moment. First to let go of life. Finally, to take a step without feet.” - Rumi
To know that someone built this for his wife in an era without modern, industrial tools and to see its magnificence up close in detail — it makes you want to cry, dance, sit silently for hours on the cool, smooth marble floors; and think of all the people who built it and all those whose bare feet have stepped where you have. The only other building that has a similar effect on me so far is the Oculus in NYC.
I insisted on making the drive the night before and waking up at 5am to push out before sunrise. We arrived the ticket area in the dark, fires still burning to keep warm. As we entered the gates, the sun rose over the horizon. We watched in awe as the sky, gates, and Taj Mahal changed colors. We spent 4 hours there, slowly walking, sitting, observing; it’s a place of love and peaceful rest indeed.
Our guide was confused — no one ever asked him to wake up so early for the Taj Mahal in all his yrs of guiding guests 2-3x/week. By the end of the morning, he understood. He said it was the most beautiful, peaceful, quiet he’s ever seen the space in his lifetime. .
The Taj Mahal, a mausoleum enclosing a tomb with a mosque on one side, was built from 1632 to 1653 by a king, the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, for his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal — the one he met in childhood but had to wait 5 years to marry due to lunar auspicious traditions of the time. Due to the time period, culture and politics, Shah Jahan had many wives and children. But it’s clear when you visit this place how much Mumtaz Mahal meant to him ...if material things can describe love and dedication. The design of the art in the walls and architecture are incredible, trompe-l'œil included. There are 28 types of precious and semi-precious stones inlaid into the white marble from around the world.
We don’t build things like this anymore. Literally and metaphorically. Head there before the sun rises, it is worth it. 💗
Soap and Glory Speed Plump-Miracle moisture Mask
Price : 20 AED ( i got it for 10 during the @bootsmiddleeast sale)
@soapandglory have released a selection of sheet masks, named The Mask Force Beauty Mask-Haves! and this miracle mositure mask is one of them.
This is a gel mask and comes in two parts. The hydrogel mask in infused with a blend of Hyaluronic acid and Soap & Glory's Pink Flower Power-3 complexes which are the skin hydrating ingredients.
This mask claims to help in hydrating the skin and it's especially good for dry or dehydrated skin. it is fragranced with sweet orange peel oil and gives a fruity-flowery scent.
I was a bit confused as to which way to apply it as there are two films but once on, I absolutely loved it!! As it is gel based, it instantly cools and soothes the skin.
The product is very slippery and doesn't stay put on the face. I had to keep adjusting the bottom part of the mask to prevent it from falling down.
After 20 minutes, I peeled the gel mask and massaged the remaining gel into the skin. The skin felt very hydrated and radiant.
This mask is great after a tiring day or a long flight.
I will definitry buy this product again ❤️
A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow. – William Shakespeare. I would just like to say thank you to all my friends, old and new, if we’ve created memories in 2017 let’s continue to grow and support one another. Let 2018 be the year of self-love, success and savagery. Onwards and upwards always.
The 1st thing that I want to do when I get home after whole day of college/work is remove my makeup and all day's tiredness from my face.
I have found a perfect gift for myself for doing the same.
The @glamnationorganics 's Natural Perfection Eye Make-up Remover gently removes all the makeup and dirt and dullness from your skin making it feel clean & leaving a slight fragrance which is subtle and doesn't irritate.
And guess what, this make-up remover not only removes the make-up but also help to reduce under eye bags and soften fine lines. ❤
The make-up remover is not so greasy and runny in consistency, it is just right. The make-up remover has the right organic ingredients like organic aloe, organic safflower oil, organic chamomile extract, organic oat extract, organic green tea extract, etc...
Eyes feel fresh and clean. ❤
