These are rejected character designs for a story that will probably never see the light of day. I wanted to release his story today! Right now in fact! I cant though: I never wrote it.
My work schedule is usually about 4pm to 10pm. Now, the job's not that demanding, nor is it perpetually busy. I can easily sneak off to the bathroom for 10-15 minutes at a time to work on my stories. So I decided yesterday "Why the he'll not? I'll make 'working at work' a 'thing'!". I thought I'd crouch down in the biggest stall and type out a script every hour. Thing is, I like to be in a chair when I'm writing. You know bottle of water to my right, phone in my hand, butt in a comfortable pleather chair. Also, I get into a certain...zone when I'm writing that usually last 20 minutes to an hour. For these reasons, I figured writing in the hard, wet stall wasn't going to work.
Character Design on the other hand is far more...informal. I do it any and everywhere, and it requires far less time to doodle out a mock up of a design. So that's what I did. It went well, and work time is now designated character design time, which means a daily script is no longer unfathomable 😬😬😬
