So deeply inspired by these humans.
Such intelligence, integrity and openness.
My dear friend Josie organised a panel on Decolonizing the Media particularly around indigenous and marginalised communities.
The presenters respectfully represented their experiences as Native American, Muslim American, Mexican American, Poor and Houseless and all of them work in Media of some kind.
The immense importance of creating spaces that provide opportunities for people to share their truth, their stories, their relevant news, and discuss solutions to their own problems, while being received, heard and supported was highlighted so strongly.
Thank you all for the work that you do. 🙌
Such an honour 🙌
A perfect last night in California!
