It felt like I was in Narnia when the snow first fell!

Old Hatfield grew up on the Great North Road , one days journey from London by horse or coach and once had many coaching inns. It was a convenient place for the Bishops of Ely to have a lodging, giving access to both the cathedral in Ely to the north and the capital to the south, and a Bishops palace grew up here adjacent to the village. This is the antecedent to Hatfield House, the wall of which abuts the village.

The gamble paid off! #Porthcurno to myself, with the added bonus of a brief bit of usable light..... Here's one of my best side! 😂
Rainy day reflections! Piccadilly Circus is a road junction in London's West End. It was built in 1819 to connect Regent Street with Piccadilly. The advertising boards are one of the UK’s most iconic landmarks and it has recently been given a makeover and the new boards were re-launched in October 2017. The original patchwork of screens have now been replaced with a single state-of-the-art 4K LED digital screen and live technology hub, which allows the screen to react to certain external factors, such as the weather or temperature. Pretty cool huh!
