Quick and easy Singaporean chilli crab 🦀
6 live blue swimmer crabs
2 knobs of ginger
4-6 birds eye red chilli (more according to personal preference)
4 cherry tomatoes
1 tablespoon salted soya beans (taucheo) lightly pounded
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 glass water
1-2 tablespoon ketchup
Served with traditional sweet Chinese bun or baguette
It was an instantaneous love at first inhale. When the green curry passed under my nose, it was an immediate hit of mingling, tingling fresh spices that greeted me. That was only the start of the sensory sensation, which both excite and delighted me. When it was mixed to the piping hot jasmine rice, it became sublimily refined. Texturally, the spice paste together with the crabmeat and slight bitter Thai basil provided an amazing unforgettable mouthful. Added to it, a crunchy crispy mix of fried garlic and other spices elevated that spoonful into food porn heaven! Truly a memorable dinner @khuaklingpaksod The whole fish fried with turmeric and topped with a layer of fried garlic chips was done to perfection. @khuaklingpaksod really made this dish more than a 3 🌟🌟🌟, anytime. I was told @khuaklingpaksod delivers perfection, every single time it was ordered! The frying technique delivered the crispness of the fish maintaining the moist meat. So freaking good. The other dishes fared well too. And the pandan chiffon cake had a layer of coconut cream with slivers of fresh coconut meat that capped a beautiful meal. This was truly the best tasting dinner, so refined cuisine.
